Fantastic interview! Scott always comes across as such a charismatic, down to earth, level-headed guy. He's a great example of a true martial artist. I'm really looking forward to all these upcoming projects of his, especially Diablo. The synergy between Scott Adkins and Marko Zaror is incredible to watch.
They need to cast Scott in more big studio movies. He's got the looks, charisma, acting chops. Hugely underrated actor of our generation and its a shame the studios are letting him to go waste. That said, I absolutely love anything he's in. Avengement was top notch and The Debt Collector series is as good as it gets.
Sadly in this movie there was just too much exposition dump. I was excited to see Adkins mostly alone, being burned out sniper and someone against him. The stuff with the girls was just mostly annoying. Alice Eve was in the whole movie for like two minutes, i am baffled by her role. Did they spend the entire budget on her? It felt like she was doing Seagal cameo. The action also felt dull. Dudes not reloading their weapons, just spray and pray. One Shot was miles ahead with everything.
