Ah, i see. Can i request something for your next post, please tell us more about parallel runway operation, or apv like lda lnav/vnav, if you got any time. I would really appreciate that. Keep up your good work capt!
Also I appreciate you, that you're sharing very useful and effective videos, short, brief and well explained, especially they are helpful for quick refresh or for beginners.👍
its possible the FAA consider the sections differently i dont know? ive had a google and indeed there are some different versions, acceleration and clim out are all the same though, just depends where you take the start from. In all the examples i found where the segment starts at Vlof it also states the gear is retracted at the same spot! to me those two point are different. You dont retract the gear as soon as the wheels leave the ground! lol but the basis are all the same :)
Im not an airline pilot yet, but as far 25. 111 said that yeah, landing gear retraction can be initiate once the aircraft become airborne, but they're not specific on what altitude. Can i have a book that you used for reference in this video? I would pleased to know that
If your talking about having an engine failure, in my mind the lower I am the worse off. Unless I have runway remmaning to land. Many factors to take into acount.
