From a gameplay perspective, Built To Scale is HORRENDOUS. Having the last cue note muted sounds good, but it nullifies the purpose of the sound cue, i.e. *being a cue* Also having it cut to Clappy Trio basically right as you're supposed to press the button, especially since you're *not supposed to press it right that instant* is just evil. And I'm also having mixed feelings about Fan Club's quick 2 cue being basically completely muffled by the syncopated claps. I'm also not sure of the relevance of using Rhythm Rally at the end just to be prema-fast balls, maybe Lockstep might've been a better choice? All in all, too much of the practicality has been sacrificed for the sake of fidelity. OK
When I made this I didn't even know remixes were playable in HS LOL, and lockstep wasn't done at the time of making this remix (I was the one who fixed it in HS), I only made this to be watched, not played
I also had a lot of trouble with the built to scale portion. This remix started real strong with the rythm rally and rythm tweezers at the start and using the melody with built to scale is a great idea, but it just doesn't feel quite right. Over all this was good, I can't wait to see more in the future! I think this whole heaven studio project is awesome!
Just want to pop in and say I agree and that was a pretty spot on analysis. The song has a lot of potential especially if they're CAREFULLY combined with Built to Scale, but it's kind of wasted in liew of song aesthetics. There's potential here though for this song, there really is, just not in this setup.
After the first karate man into rhythm rally part the song goes like a quarter beat out of sync which was hard to fix so it sounds a little off in the latter part, there was not much I could do tp fix it
