I suffered an ectopic pregnancy at 11 weeks of pregnancy. My tube ruptured and I needed emergency surgery to remove both baby and tube. I've always been a Take That fan but, on my way home from hospital after the surgery, this song came on the radio and - for the first time - I allowed myself to grieve for the little life I'd lost. This song said it all for me when I just couldn't speak. Thanks lads x

I remember meeting Gary in Cologne when they were doing promo for "Patience" and I told him how much I love the song. His face lit up like a Christmas tree. I thought it was so sweet that after all these years he still got so excited about people loving his music. Such a genuinely decent man, too.

A girl I've met on Twitter made me discover take that in november 2013 (less than two years) with THAT song and since then I became a huuuge fan. In february, out of huge luck, I met Gary Mark and Howard and talked/got a pic with them. When I hear this song, even after 2 years, it still got me. I seriously love it. Some people listen to music just for fun but, please, take the time to truly listen to the lyrics and the beautiful voice of Gary. This is one of my fav songs of Take that !

If he had say that about Do what u like, pray etc....it would have been completely understandable (lets face it, they do look extremely gay in these songs x) but this song has nothing gay? It's about a guy saying he needs time to heal from his previous relationship with a girl... and they absolutely not look gay on the video (the hair was fashion at that time)

this song was released in 2006 and i was 11 years old. shivers went up my spine already at that age. Today I am 27 years old and my tears are flowing. I understand the text better and feel it tattooed on my soul, as I have had a toxic and sick love for years. An ex-boyfriend who killed me with beatings and physical violence, sometimes sexual. This song hits really hard. I've lost a girl I loved long time ago. Years flew since then, but I am still not able to move on. She is always in my dreams, I miss her very much😭 Her smile, her hug, her everything..... I don't know what else to say. Hopefully, one day I will love another girl like her, but I highly doubt that
