Take the Long Way Home is another timeless classic from Supertramp co-founder, Roger Hodgson. This song is amazing whether Roger is performing solo, with band, or with orchestra. He's a master composer, singer & songwriter. Roger is the composer & signature voice of many hits such as Give a Little Bit, The Logical Song, Dreamer, Breakfast in America, School, Fool's Overture & more. See Roger on tour- dates below. Although Roger & Supertramp's other co-founder shared writing credit, they actually wrote & composed separately with each singing their own respective songs. bit.ly/1Kfgu0W
"Take the Long Way Home" was a song that I wrote, actually, during or right before we went into the studio to record the album "Breakfast in America." It was a last-minute surprise for me. It's on two levels - on one level I'm talking about not wanting to go home to the wife, take the long way home because she treats you like part of the furniture, but there's a deeper level to the song, too. I really believe we all want to find our true home, find that place in us where we feel at home, and to me, home is in the heart. And when we're in touch with our heart and we're living our life from our heart, then we do feel like we found our home." ~Roger Hodgson

"Wow, wow, wow. I just returned from seeing your show which was the highlight of my whole concert-going life. Your music transcends time. Your ethereal voice, magical musicianship & meaningful lyrics touches my soul. You're blessed to be surrounded by such wonderful musicians who understand brilliantly your music. Thank you for an experience that will always be with me."
"There's such an elegant, clear simplicity to your wonderful words & music. But, the depth & richness of your songs with the orchestra (and excellent band) is so layered & succulent, one can weep at the beauty. Thank you for such a memorable evening. The experience will remain with us until we see you again."
