Art is an umbrella term. It's anything that expresses creativity. Music is just one of those mediums like drawing, or cooking.

Yes, that's true, but I was talking about the musician term Artist. It's a term for musicians who make their own music or lyrics, and generally refers to calmer performances. Most people only see PopStars as musicians, so it's understandable why you would think I was talking about all artists, but I was talking about the type of musician she is.

I mean if you're implying that before she was just a conveyor belt singer and that she was just a product created by a corporate entity than sure I'd agree she transitioned into an artist however if before she was using music to express herself than she simply had a new change in image. I don't think she was being a shallow pop idol before in it for the money or anything or a sell out. I think at worst she was a victim of circumstance.

Please don't twist my words just because you disagree with me. Popstars are also able to express themselves through music, many choose the themes or otherwise influence the songs they sing. That doesn't mean that they are the specific type of musician called Artist, it's a very different style and method of creation for the music. Also, I made it clear that this was just my opinion not fact. You don't need to get mad about me viewing Artist music and Pop music as different. I would not be able to be an Artist because I can't write my own music, but I could still sing songs in the style of music of an Artist. So while I don't think that's what happened, it's entirely possible to still consider her a pop idol who just sung a song in the style of music made by Artists. Artist in this context is a STYLE OF MUSIC, it is NOT saying that only Artists are able to make art with music. ALL performances are expressions of the self, just as all other art is! That's like saying actors aren't artists just because they perform plays or movies instead of writing them.

Pop stars sing songs created by a team of writers and computer generated sound bytes. It is nothing more than raunchy karaoke.

I say just replace all the Royal Guards with robot ponies. Just program them with all the guard stuff they need, and add firewalls in case someone tries to hack them and turn them against you. That's just my take on it, though. I might be a bit ahead of the times with this.

We might revisit the character sometime in the series to see what became of her and her music career. She is still an amazing singer and so she likely found a new agent who could respect her gifts better.

I think that if Svengallop was Songbird's manager, he would've at least been hinted at and would've been seen with Songbird in her movie screen. Also, the Las Pegasus based episodes has him cameo in the background, and judging by the look on his face and the fact that nopony sits next to him, Svengallop's manipulative tactics don't work anymore.
