I do have a R53 LCI Checkmate myself too and was wondering how do you keep your plastics hydrated? Any special tips? I came across your channel when I was looking for information about the F56 but thanks to you I'm now searching for a R53 :) I'm also looking for the perfect spec but here in europe they are much harder to find. On my wishlist: a blue or green R53 with xenon, climate and cruise control and to make it myself even more difficult a black roofliner (very rare on mini's it seems) and if the car has the Chrono package I'm willing to extent my budget.
Hey! Just found your channel and loved the videos, if anytime in the future you sell your checkmate, would you be so kind and try to remember me and tell me about it? I wouldn't mind going from Mexico City to Pennsylvania, in fact it would be an awesome trip driving it to here to be honest haha, back in 2006 a Checkmate was my first car I bought and I had an accident on it :( now 17 years later im looking for a Checkmate. Hi Sebastian, thank you for taking the time to leave a message. Unfortunately the Checkmate was sold last year and is now with a new owner in Ohio. Wish I could keep them all but sometimes need to make room for new adventures.

I'm really looking for a Checkmate in this conditions, and here in México its almost imposible, I've found some checkmates, but in terrible conditions. That's why I came up with the idea, when I saw your video, that I could buy it in USA and drive it all the way down to Mexico City, haha my wife is going to k1ll me when I tell her my plans
