If you watched the game…Pollard had 2 attempts to get that TD from the 1 yrd line. HE COULDNT. They gave it to Zeke and 3rd and he got it. Cowboys need both backs. It’s not about who’s better. It’s about using both in the right situations. Watch the actual game sometimes.

Why y'all so pressed about who starts between Zeke and Pollard? TP literally got 70% of the snaps in the game and they were keeping him fresh for later in the game. He don't have the same stamina as Zeke so they can't make him a bell cow back.
There ain’t a single cowboy fan that thinks zeke should be starting over pollard and we’ve all said this for WEEKS now. Zeke is our short yardage/goal line back and he can still get good runs on first down, but pollard HAS to get the majority of the carry’s, he’s too good not to.
7:30 they tried to give the ball to Pollard to punch it in after hauling it that whole Drive and he couldn't get the short yardage for the TD, so they put Zeke in to do what he does. That's why they still need Zeke. Calm it with the Pollard over Zeke nonsense. They both play their part. Pollard also gets demolished in pass protection a couple times in this game, so there's that. It doesn't matter who starts. They both know their role.

i wonder when everybody else is gonna open their eyes and realizes that nobody is disagreeing pollard is a more explosive back than zeke. fact of the matter is that hes NOT AN EVERY DOWN BACK. The offense works at its best when they both get snaps because both guys are constantly fresh. If you notice vs the bears when zeke was hurt by the end of the game pollard was getting really tired from being there on every down.

I honestly feel like the #1 and #2 positions for RB is a misnomer. I don't know any one except Twitter users (Twitter isn't real-life, yo) that doesn't think TP isn't a #1 and in the Cowboys O, he's treated as a number one. I've said it before and I'll say it again, Zeke beats down defenses and gets hard yards. Tony is the Scat Back that gashes when the Defense is sufficiently worn down. The Cowboys have a two headed monster with their RB room. That's exactly how they play them. What you didn't see in the highlights is how TP is just too small and he failed to punch on for that short yard TD. We gave it to Zeke? TD. They didn't just 'give the TD to Zeke'. No, we gave TP the shot but he's just not big enough. So on that TD play we threw Zeke in and he got it. This is exactly why sustaining yourself off of Highlights only is not good for objective analysis but I understand that the whole of these videos is Highlights to get through multiple games.

Pollard can’t block and read blitzes liek ZEKE can, pollard had 2 opportunities at the 1 and couldn’t get it done but Zeke did. Both backs are crucial to our offense, pollard got that speed and explosion and ZEKE gets those hard yards at the goal line and on the 3rd and 1s

@@TILIS214 The best day is points (td’s) and wins. Do not get lost in statistics (yards) and who starts. It’s who finishes the race. At the end of the year, no one remembers yards, only W-L record. Championships. (Barry Sanders, O.j, Bo, King Henry, etc.=yards. None won the big one!!!

It doesn't matter who starts. They had exactly the same touches and the same number of touchdowns. Pollard is faster and gives you pop. Zeke is a bulldozer and sometimes you need to plow a road. Our rb coach calls them the hammer and the sword. Pick your poison, they can both get it done.
At 7:13 they gave the touchdown to zeke AFTER Pollard had 1st and 2nd down to try and stuff it into the endzone. That's why it was 3rd down when zeke went in.WATCH THE GAME DUDE!!!
Pollard is a true Receiver his speed helps running out the back but he's best when he's catching that ball after Dak fools the defense and if he's in motion when catches the ball he's gone
