If you complete the towers for Smoke, in his movie at the end, *SPOLER ALERT*, reveals that he finds a kid whom he trains under the Shirae Ryu & says the kids name is Hanzo Hasashi. So technically Hanzo is like 15 or something.
True. When they were introduced in MKX I actually really could not stand Kung Jin, Cassie & Jacqui. By MK11 they made Jacqui way more likable, amd then she became my fave. Still not a fan of Cassie and Kung Jin though.

Well, in the Smoke ending, he was attacked by a assassin boy, which he then kinda adopted and let him join the shirai ryu, whktch then smoke says that the kids name is Hanzo. Soo right now Hanzo is a kid
Towards the end of the story Kitana kills the combat kids from another dimension when you are climbing the pyramid. It’s probably just a Takeda from another dimension as well
I completed the game last night and noticed that scene. Makes me wonder if overall fans just didn’t like the “kombat kids” and this was fan service 😹 🤷🏽♂️
I’m worried that Kuai is gonna die and become Noob and Hanzo will take up the mantle of scorpion. Or maybe the dead father of Kuai, Bi-Han, and Tomas will be Noob or Bi-Han will be noob again
@@nightmarexgaming120 kuai will and cannot become noob as noob have an evil personality which quan chi gives him and kuai have a good personality and doesn't engage in fights until necessary like bi-han but it's possible that kuai will be killed...can't say anything about mk2 story yet
Not to be the "well actually" guy, but...well, actually, the Scorpion ending is him and Smoke escaping the Lin Kuei and setting up a new group, the Shirai Ryu, named in honor of Scorpion's new wife/lover Shirai. It's in Smoke's ending we see Hanzo, as they are struggling to find initiates for their new clan when Smoke is attacked in their compound. He bests the attacker, learning It's a kid named Hanzo Hisashi, who becomes the first initiate of the Shirai Ryu.

I believe Takeda is the Grandmaster title for the Shi-rai Ryo, since Takeda Takahashi around 1200-1300 A.D. was the first who established this branch of Shadow Warriors, the name Takeda is to honor their founder for the years to come. Remind that most Western fans do not know the pronunciation for Takeda is written in Mandarin as 武田(military/combat field) or 竹田 (Bamboo field) and his name is deeply associated with their main warrior sect 林鬼 (Lin Kuei meaning Forest Ghost/Demon). All to suggest they dedicate towards martial improvement and mysticism, except the Lin Kuei tend to focus more on combat efficiency hence their blind devotion for Cyber Initiative while the Shirai Ryu focus on improving martial prowess thru skill instead of self-mutilation.

Unless I am incorrect, usually for the most part characters who appear as DLC aren't considered canon to the game's story unless it's a situation like Aftermath in MK 11 where the characters appear AFTER the fact in a story expansion, therefore canonizing them. So it's possible that this Takeda will be his MK X self and was added as DLC because he simply wouldn't make any sense as a base roster character in MK 1.
Hanzo Hasashi was mentioned in the ending of Smoke as a young boy who became the first initiate of the Shirai Ryu clan founded by Kuai Liang, Scorpion, and Smoke.
What if his absence in the last game is because he was somehow transported into this one? He does look a lot older than he did in MKX, if that’s the case he along with Liu Kang are the only ones to know what the second timeline was like and what happened.

@@G0OG4No. He's just a DLC character. DLC characters don't affect the main story. Literally in the same kombat pack we have Omni man, homelander and peacemaker. Aftermath is the exception not the rule when it comes to cannon dlc characters
Both Hanzo and Frost have been referenced in PVP intro dialogue banter as being new recruits in the Shirai Ryu and Lin Kuei, respectively. Also, Frost is a secondary Assist character in PVP mode.
MKX Takeda had the potential to be one of the strongest characters in MK. He inherited Kenshi’s abilities (which I think are god-tier) and grew up training under Hanzo and learning some of the Scorpion’s abilities as well. Those 3 together were about as powerful a trio as anyone in MK who wasn’t a elder god could get
The full story mode of MK1 has been uploaded here on RU-vid. The current incarnation of the Shirai Ryu is now founded by Kuai Liang (the new Scorpion) and Smoke. Hanzo Hasashi is now a child newly recruited by them.
I think Takeda is the founder of the Shirai Ryu, will pick up what’s left of the Sub Zero’s clan after MK1, and will have the voice and model of Honzo.
It was connfirmed by the Devs that the Scorpion in MK1, new Lui Kang timeline, is Bi-Han little brother Kuai Liang with pyromancer powers. Go watch the videos on the MK channel.
I think Hanzo likely is Takeda. Your points are ok, also one leak confirmed it and it seems the leak was right because of some other things. Ed said "No KK's, but they can enter the game as dlc in the future". Ok, but why you turn Takeda TAKAHASHI into a cyber ninja-like and you make him to look like and old man. I'm the only one who realize he looks older than Takeda kid?
@@wildpig6986 Not really, the leak that teased Hanzo seems legit, so 🤷♂️ I don't think the leaker failed in that specific detail. Don't trust in MK info, they always want to confuse and manipulate the fans with vague information.
If you play through the towers with smoke, a cut scene will play after you complete a tower and smoke in Kwai Liang create the clan and smoke Fiennes Hanzo Hisashi as their first learner
Saw some theory that Smoke is Hanzo, think it'd be cool if Takeda in the DLC pack is old Takeda, and Hanzo Smoke eventually dips the Lin Kuei and joins the Shirai Ryu. I don't think Takeda in MK1 is Hanzo because his history with Bi-Han and Kuai-Liang is way too important to the narrative of the series as a whole for him to just be a DLC character
@anonymousbo0318 they're reimaginings of the characters. Kuai-Liang isn't usually Scorpion but it's been confirmed that's who he is in MK1. Kung Lao had an American accent in MK11. Saying Smoke not having a Japanese accent means it's impossible for him to be Hanzo is stupid, especially if they're trying to hide the reveal. Takeda in the DLC trailer is clearly an older man, yet everyone revealed so far with the exception of Liu Kang are younger versions of themselves, so it'd be weird to not only make one of MK's MAIN fan favorite characters both be DLC exclusive and radically older than the entire rest of the roster
