Very solid tips and as always, you provide enough options that something is almost always going to work. Thank you!

I’m 59 yo old and had my first real fight 6 weeks ago. My brother said he’d “kill me” if we ever fought. 😮 (I’ve trained boxing, BJJ, and MMA as a hobbyist for many years at a decent level.) My brother (who is a personal trainer) has had little Arts training. He and I had an argument at a Restaurant with our parents with us. He got aggressive and we squared off. He said “touch me”. I smacked him in the back of his head saying “there I touched you.” We both headed for Chopsticks exit and the fight started. He started throwing punches as I entered and secured a Muay Thai Plumb. I laid my weight on him and pushed his head down. He threw punches but they zinged past my head. I turned him off balance and kneed him in the stomach. He stepped back and I threw a solid right jab to his left cheek. He attempted a tackle and I secured a head arm lock over the top. By then other customers and waitresses were outside asking us to stop. We did and went back inside. I felt pretty relaxed- granted, I knew he didn’t have a weapon or accomplices. I was calm on my feet as I wasn’t worried about my ground skills. I was so happy that I’d put in the many hours of standup and Jiu Jitsu sparring since I knew that it was real! For every loss in sparring or at a tournament meant I had work to do. Fighting for real was the best thing that happened to me. I walk differently. I’m more confident. I saw a bumper sticker “Do No Harm and Take No Shit”. I’ve done the work and that’s my Mantra- Thanks for your videos- I love BJJ since it seems to bring out the best in people

I do jujitsu for fun and in my last practice fight I had my opponent in closed guard but when I tried to go for triangle choke he kept moving his head back making it impossible for me to put me leg being his head. Do you have and advice on what to do in that position?

I do have some advice for that actually. Here is a video I made on finishing tips for the triangle: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-dbnXEaIc-xQ.htmlsi=CqYi64ta6G5Jl4ue
