It seems appropriate to compare Real Sociedad's Takefusa Kubo to Paris Saint-Germain's Lee Kang In.. Takefusa Kubo is not a player to be compared to Son Heung Min.. Kubo has a long way to go to follow Son's achievements
@@TheDeadBallTVMitoma is better be compared to his superior rival Hwang Hee Chan. Hwang has scored 10 goals this season so far and mitoma only 3 goals.
Kim Min-jae contributed greatly to helping Napoli win the league for the first time in 33 years, and was selected as the best defender in Seria A. And he is currently playing as a starting defender at Bayern Munich. Kim Min-jae was nominated for the Ballon d'Or and is the highest-ranked player among the defender..Tomiyasu has previously played for Seria A Bologna, but has never won a title or won the Seria A Best Defender award. And he is not currently the best member of Arsenal and does not play as a center back
There is no room for debate.. Son Heung Min is currently Asia's best player and Kim Min Jae is currently Asia's best defender. Recently, Kim was nominated for the Ballon d'Or and ranked highest among defenders. He is currently playing as a starting defender for Bayern Munich, one of the best clubs in the world.. Tomiyasu is a backup member at Arsenal and currently cannot play his main position at centre-back.. He played as a starting member for a while because other starting players were unable to appear due to injury.
Son Heung-min is the only Asian player to score his 100th goal in the EPL. And he is a player who scored more than 10 goals in most seasons and showed consistent performance. Mitoma showed that he scored his 7th goal in just one season last year, but he has not scored in 16 games this season. Korean Guy Hwang Hee-chan scored his 8th goal this season in the Premier League and Mitoma has 3 goals. Even compared to Hwang Hee-chan, Mitoma is at a lower level
Right and I didn’t even need to MENTION that Korean guy because the argument doesn’t change: Korea have the best 2 offensive players no matter how you want to mix and match. And this is coming from a Japan simp ✋
Son, with his 23 goals in the 21/22 season is one of only ever 2 PL Golden Boot winners who won it without taking a single penalty. The other being Sadio Mane with 22 goals in the 18/19 season.
I am neither a Son Heung-min fan nor a Takefusa Kubo fan. However, any football fan who knows football will have no doubt that Sonny is the best player in Asia
The title or something else is biased to one side. Please upload the video fairly. I respect that you like Japanese players. But please also respect Korean players. Honestly, did you intentionally post incorrect information?
This comparison video itself shows no respect for Son Heung-min, Asia's best player of all time and world class. Son Heung-min is the 7th player to score 10 or more goals in the Premier League for 8 consecutive seasons. Last season, Tottenham's strategy used Son Heung-min as a wingback or defender. He was unable to play for several months due to injury. Nevertheless, he scored his 10th goal, and Mitona scored his 7th goal despite being at his best.. But what about this season? Mitoma is scoreless in 16 games. Comparing a player who played well for one season with Son Heung-min, who shows consistent performance, is a contradiction in itself.
Son Heung Min scored his 11h goal this season and Takefusa Kubo scored his 6th goal..The Premier League is stronger.. It is contradictory to compare a player who performed well in the one season with Son Heung Min, who has scored more than 10 goals in several seasons. At the very least, if you want to compare him to Son, compare him to a player who has performed consistently for more than five seasons and scored more than 10 goals.
Completely agree. Kubo is very good and so is Mitoma but we are comparing newcomers to one of the greatest wingers in world football over the last decade.
Son is a Forward, Kubo is a mf/winger. Ones job is to score goals, the other is to create chances. The thing is, Kubo doesn't need to score 10 goals a season to be considered a better player. There's more to it than looking at goals, that's why his market value is currently higher than Son. Kubo is also a decade younger than Son. One player is playing in their prime close to retirement while the the other is just starting out. The EPL>La Liga is a poor excuse. We say that while 4 La Liga teams topped their group stages of this years Champions League while Premier League teams flopped. History also supports La Liga>EPL in Euro competition. The reasons people say EPL is the best league in the world is because 1. English makes it the more marketable league and 2. They're more attack oriented which makes them a more attractive league to watch.
@@sw33t1337 I like facts. So I look for the facts. I am not a fan of the Premier League. According to the European club rankings, the Premier League is first and La Liga is second. Do you deny this fact to yourself? And don't judge it by just one season... Previously, four Premier League clubs also made it to the round of 16. And which club won the Champions League last year? Isn't it Man City? Son Heung-min is originally a winger. He played as a winger for Tottenham and the Korean national team. His recent playing as a striker has been temporary, as the Tottenham striker has been unable to play due to injury. Son Heung-min said in an interview that he will continue to play and has never said anything about retirement. And even when some transfer sites said Son Heung-min was the top scorer and played a good role in the past, they did not give a fair evaluation of Son Heung-min.. Son Heung-min has won Asia's best player award several times. Kubo? Of course he is a good player. But Kubo is currently on his 6th goal in the league.. He hasn't scored a goal again recently and has been silent. According to information, Kubo has not shown consistent performance or stats for several seasons. What on earth are the evaluation criteria? I just hope there is a fair evaluation with accurate stats.

To be honest, the fact that you post incorrect country information and comparison videos like this shows that you have no respect for other countries. Son Heung Min said in an interview that he was always proud to be a Korean player and proud of the Korean national team.
Mitoma is a one-tool on the side, so he has not been able to play this season because it was read by defenders. Currently, Mitoma has scored three goals and Hwang Hee-chan has scored 10. Hwang Hee-chan is a better player than Mitoma.
Bruh , i spit out my cereal reading this title 😂. Edit: Son scored his 11th premier league goal this season and it's not even at the halfway mark. He is 3rd in line for the 2023-24 golden boot award after Erling Haaland (14) And MO Salah (12). He'd have more goals if they played him at cf all season. He played 5 games at LW.
Respectfully, this comparison reeks of plain disrespect, delusion, and a clear bias towards Japanese players. Son is the undisputed GOAT of asian football. Kim is the undisputed GOAT of defenders in asia. Hwang and Mitoma or Lee and Kubo would be reasonable comparisons. But Comparing them to Son? Even Hwang is outperforming Mitoma by a huge margin this year.
As a die hard arsenal fan, Son is the best player on the field wen arsenal plays spurs. Idt there is a team in the world where Son doesn’t get into the team. Maybe Real Madrid but that’s it. He is the greatest asian player of all time. Mira tom’s and Kubo r also amazing players with Kubo being the best japanese player imo, however to say that them to clears Sonaldo and Lee kang in is idiotic. While Japan is the best asian team currently, the trio of Kim minjae son heung min and Lee kang in is the best in all of asia. Tbh that trio goes toe to toe with most european trios (best three players). U have a PL golden boot winner, Seria As defender of the year and startin CB for bayern, and Lee kang in who’s on track to be in the ligue 1 team of the season. Son made his mark in champions league already and Kim and Lee Kang im are both having great performances in it this campaign. U could argue korean bias for my take but in reality it’s just facts.
Son has been a top player for years, and I'm an Arsenal fan, I used to tell Spurs fans, apart from Kane and Son, they're an average side, I mean Son had a bad year last year, but he seems to have found his feet under Ange, also Maddison was a good signing, anyway merry christmas and happy new year to everyone on the show
Wait till you read the Malaysian media after they draw vs Korea Match. "Faisal scored vs Min Jae. Potential?" "International praises Faisal for more beautiful goal than Son" Irony is that the coach is korean for the malaysian team.
I don't understand why people get sooo sensitive with this even though even though you're only speaking facts And I really like your vids keep it up 👍👍
Son and Min-Jae>>>>>>>>>>>any Asian player let alone Mitoma Mitoma=Kubo=Kang-In Japan>>>any other Asian national team it ain’t even close. Korea have 4 superstar players which none in Asia can match but goddamn the rest of their team? God help them. Min-Jae surrounded by random Kim farmers playing footy as a hobby. Japan without a doubt THEE MOST STACKED national team outside Europe and South America let alone Asia.
Could this be another twitter take:raising the drinking age from 21 to 25?! I heard you talking about it in a Q&A about drinking and its effects a little bit
Well, you could say Brighton are the Europa league they did qualify for the round 16 but real Sociedad are the champions league and they qualified as well. They didn’t even lose a single game and manger to get Draw with inter Twice it’s and despite Kubo not scored a single goal goals in the champions league, right
The best Asian footballer was is still Cha Bumkun. Not only was he more explosive and perhaps higher goal rate during when Budesliga was the best, he led his team to trophies and UEFA League which was the CL of that time twice. Son won't win the ghe silverware that Cha has.
Speaking of Real Sociedad, are we ever going to see a Mexican 🇲🇽 player to play in the club anytime soon after the Carlos vela era it’s been a few years and I’m still waiting
In Japan, Itoh is considered to be the best player for the natonal team, when I read through the comments online. That's based on his performance for the national team, not his club.
Haha A Messi vs Ronaldo statistical breakdown would be awesome too, especially considering that there is a site called messivsronaldo that does this. Would love to see Conor's take on that haha
"Japanese team is more complete compared to Korea’s team" I used to think this - Japan's teamwork is amazing. But then I watched the whole game of Japan vs. South Korea U20 World Cup match. Japan has teamwork but South Korea is simply better - better control and attack. They could have won 3-0 but due to blunders, won 1-0 only.
@@KazuhisaYagiWell the cat's out of the bag. When it was just about individuals you make it about race. You're that insecure that a korean is better then you huh? Also another ridiculous take u should discuss someday is when people are saying that Tomiyasu is a better footballer and defender than Kim Min-jae... I mean yes both cn play CB but their roles are different and the style of defending for both players are different so there should be no comparison of who's better...

completely different because basketball is completely dominated by america not just money wise but culturely as well. football is a worldwide sport. yes europe is obviously the most competitive as that where most of the money is but club football isn't the pinnacle of football its national football. all these guys that i named have had great careers in asian club football but they are national legends as well. + calling them mickey mouse leagues is just disrespectful. if you cant acknowledge great leagues outside of europe you're just uneducated @@jshawney3355
@@syd4289could’ve at least said someone like Cha bum Kun mate 😭 At his best, son Heung min could WALK into any team in the world. WALK. Currently, son is second best winger and one of the best attackers in the league. Let’s be honest, right now Sonny can start in every single team in the world. Real Madrid, Bayern, Man City etc.
But Son has double digits goals and assists for 2 to 3 Seasons in a row and I doubt Mitoma cn do it... he's right now underperformed for 17 games, only had 1 or 2 assists... Son poor form isn't like that even, last season, Son still had double digit goals while Mitoma only had 7...
There are still people who make this claim... I absolutely disagree with you. Mitoma had his best performance last season, scoring 7 goals. However, he has been performing poorly this season, going scoreless in almost 16 games. It's absurd to compare a player like this to a player who scores more than 10 goals most seasons and who scored the 23rd goal of all time in the Premier League.
It's best to just NOT compare the two countries (or people / things related to the countries)... because people need to understand that they are opening a can of works when they compare South Korea and Japan, due to lingering pain and animosity based on Japan's brutal colonisation of the Korean penunsila, AND not being sincere with their apologies related to them (e.g. vague apologies, followed by denials or whitewashing of war crimes, enshrining and honoring war criminals, lack of education of how they inflicted pain on its neighbors during WW2 etc.). The Korean monarchy was also murdered and the country was also split up after Japan left it in a poor weak state... etc. The toxic Japanese mindset is that Japan simply cannot be beaten by 'weak' 'anti-Japanese' Korea, and the South Korean older generation minset is that Korea must beat their former coloniser / oppressor Japan at all costs (and they have succeeded in this in many areas. Football has always been an area of pride for South Korea since the 50s when they ALWAYS dominated against Japan (until about 2010ish)). (I applaud you for setting the record straight based on hard facts, and you'll become a target of die hard weebs / right wing Japanese etc.)
I dont think he tried to troll or sth. he just tried to introduce certain point of view and talk about it?? why people in this comment section wrote aggressive comments. and of course Kubo is young, promising player. maybe future Asian Goat. cuz nobody doesnt know the future. and it is a gift to football fans like us. expecting, witnessing future great players. anyway, thank for the uploader, this video was educational and fun.
