@@orlanzo2621 I’ve been think a lot about this, and I think I have a theory. A lot of what they did was in contrast to how Nintendo did things. Nintendo in many ways is the pinnacle japanese company: diligent, exacting, and perfectionist in their development. Sega always was more punk rock. They experimented, and they went ALL IN on how weird they can be. But that’s what made their games magical. There was a passion that you could feel in how those games where made.
@@segamon FINALLY SOMEONE WITH THE SAME WISH AS ME!!! They need to bring back blue skies to original tracks, it gives such a vibe to the game that I can't even explain.
I know I'm not alone alone when I say we all NEED to see him perform this with a live band, just as Taito's Zuntata did with Hisayoshi Ogura's "Daddy Mulk" for The Ninja Warriors
man... i've never heard this before today... I've got chills folks. I knew this dude composed a lot of Sega's arcade stuff (check virtua racing and the arcade version of Outrunners) but something is really cool about his voice lol. I'm in an amazing mood all of a sudden. wow...
I literally woke up a few minutes ago with " Bleu! Bleu sky! " stuck in my head and after searching for" Bleu sky video game song sega" ,I then clicked on this!! Thank you so much for this!!!
First time listening to this, it sounds like it would fit very well with Sonic CD music, like a third alternative track for Palmtree Panic Zone (Present or Good Future).
I laughed way too hard at this comment! I still have this on sega Saturn when it first came out. I would always sing “I wanna fry sky high, let’s go to get high” 🤣😂🤣
I wasn't much of a Sega diehard fan back in their heyday but I got a Saturn out of curiousity when prices were cheap and I absolutely adored that console. Still own one with a great setup, legit one of the best consoles of all time. It's just damn fun, has a really unique vibe to it.
Who remembers 1995!!!??? Playing arcade games! Golfing at Torrey pines!!! Smoking cigarettes!!! Playing sega Saturn and watching Waterworld!!! And drinking 64oz Dr Peppers!!!!
Man, I used to play the hell out of Daytona in the arcade and on the Sega at home with this song blasting out of my speakers. It just made you want to drive!
@Larry Bundy Jr It's from an indie title called 90's Super GP (previously known as 90's Arcade Racer). Pretty much an almost complete looking game that payed homage to 90's styled Sega arcade racers like Daytona USA 1 & 2, SCUD Race and Virtua Racing. That is up until Nicalis took a hold of it and has since suffered development hell. A real shame really, since this title was around the same time as Hotshot Racing (previously known as Racing Apex) was also kickstarted. And that actually got finished.
Interesting to find you here. Surprised you never heard of the game. I've been following it (and raging about its endless development). Though, I should say the game IS apparently still in development. Someone made a tweet late last year saying that they now have development control of the game and they're adding online play. Dunno how reliable that is but apparently it's still alive in some form.
@@nekrovanvindicator9471 correct, i never did beyond through the fire and the flames, but then again, that's just one sub-genre of the metal macro-genre
This song sounds like it also belongs in a Katamari game (of course it would have to involve more lyrics about rolling but it's got that vibe, it's so good!)
