A Japanese man, living in Germany, singing Yodel about chickens, in a typical Bavarian countryside settings, with a techno background, and English backing vocals. Globalization: you are doing it PERFECTLY
@@Isochest so I did research and Takeo Ischi is Japanese but studied in Switzerland thus speaking german and being so good at yodeling. I'd say it's Bavarian, but it hard to tell, definitly some southern german. It's not a hard dialect so not southern Austria/Switzerland. I'd say it's Bavarian.
jodeling is bavarian/austrian. But his speaking sounds more like foreign german then bavarian. But yeah he lives in south bavaria in a neighboring town of mine 😆
but i think he is still learning bavarian. Its super hard even for germans to understand bavarian or austrian. Unbelievable a foreign trying to learn this dialect or live here 😂
This guy’s back story is that he had no friends in high school but he became obsessed with yodeling after hearing it on the radio whereupon he taught himself to yodel using recordings of Franzl Lang. He then studied abroad in Europe where he yodeled in front of Franzl Lang and was then apprenticed by Franzl Lang. Also he yodeled his proposal to his wife. Literally the greatest man of our generation.
@@marafolse8347 Uuuhh, i'm swiss and we pay a shit-ton of money for health care. And other than america, you're forced to have one. Do some research again
@@audiofile8311 Imagine having a hord of chickens and they attack someone on your command just like they attacked Link when you tried to slap a chicken.
Let's just admit that this random Japanese man in his 70s (60s at the time) yodelling about chickens in German ( I think) in the countryside of Germany is an absolute banger.
This Man is the prime example of how you can be part of the culture of another country. This man was once living in Tokyo Japan, and now, here he is, as a legendary Yodeler, honored and loved by the Europeans who listen to his music, and the entire world. Takeo, you're the coolest!
Goes to prove my theory: Everything that has ever existed has atleast one japanese dude who's _really_ into it. edit: Ok so I did a bit more digging; Takeo taught himself how to yodel at a young age. While studying in Germany, he would visit Switzerland and performed in beer halls in Zurich. He was so good that Franzl Lang himself was impressed and took him in as his protege. Takeo loves yodeling so much that when he proposed to his girlfriend of the time, he yodeled the entire proposal. She ofcourse said yes, and they had 5 kids together, four sons named Maximilian, Michael, Andreas and Lukas, and one daughter named Julia. Nature is funny sometimes. In this case, one the most Bavarian man to ever exist came from Japan.
I went through old internet songs & stumbled upon this. There are 2K+ songs, so it'll take a while to go through them all. I go through them casually, so I don't stress myself I love this guy's Chicken Attack
I thought that too,and I'm taking evening classes in German at the moment. My university offers them. I have to do a project on German culture for next term and I might just have an idea... I could do it on this and those weird Volksmusik videos I often see on TV when I'm on holiday there. I'm trying so hard not to laugh in my college library.
Japanese man sings about a chicken in a perfect southern dialect of German and yodels whilst pretending to be a chicken, with euro techno music playing in the background and an English hype man occasionally saying "huh huh". All of the above whilst not a single damn is given by anyone involved Based
This song is a representation of life. You don’t have to understand it just enjoy it and appreciate it while it’s there because life just like this song is way too short!
Can I suggest you to search 'Chainsaw Metal'? Or (Jackil- The Lumberjack) I think that if you don't feel that good, seeing someone proving that a chainsaw can be a music instrument could improve your mind :)
I'm sure Trump and the karen right wings could find a reason to be in a bad mood, they'll yell out it's by the Chinese, then blame Obama, then say it's left wing propaganda since it brings light on Germany and Japan, they will say it's left wing DEI or some crap to undermine appreciation of other cultures because it's sooooo bad to be appreciative, acceptance, and letting other enjoy who they are and what they like as clearly shown here in this song, but no, they want a one man nation, a one person says all nation, a one way nation, and freakin turning the country in a third world Trump dictatorship rulership. Yeah... That and those kinds of people are the types be in bad moods over every little (and I mean little) thing to make into a huge deal. What'd be worse for them if it was a female singing this song then the right wings would lose their minds even more...
This man seemed so innocent at first. But it turns out that he was a crime fighting badass that had the power to control animals. Mostly chickens because they're the best.
At a stroke of insanity I looked up Asian yodeling to serve my curiosity and this was the top result. This is the best thing I have ever seen in my entire life of being alive.
this showed up on my recommended playlist, and I can't help but too not listen every time this comes on. I found something I never thought I'd enjoy this as much as I do
I'm having an extremely hard time with life. But at least I've experienced this joy. Thank you all. Edit: I'm sincerely not being sarcastic, I'm seriously just dancing and crying and laughing and so grateful for this
This is a very joyful song and it’s quite infectious. I wish you all the best with what you’re going through right now, and keep Takeo and his magic chickens in mind.
So I looked up Takeo Ischi and he's quite a smart guy. Not only is he an engineer by training, but along with yodeling, he taught himself two traditional German instruments. Lots of respect!
