At my very 1st flight with IndiGo Airbus A320 neo from Kolkata to Chennai, the captain announced after 10 min. of the takeoff that, "Now we are cruising on 38000 feet and our speed is 880 km/h.
Whenever a plane hits about 3.5 km altitude I always look down and think "that's how deep the ocean floor is on average". Which always freaks me out. For some reason heights don't scare me but the depth of the ocean does.
When a plane reaches 8848 m, I think: "Well, we have reached Mount Everest now". In terms of altitude, obviously. Some flights even stay somewhere near Mount Everest, but others fly even a third higher than that.
Неужели Кто-то это заснял Замерял ускорение на а319 летя аэрофлотом. Получилось 0-300 за 21 секунду. Потом еще на высоте включил навигатор, который по началу работал, потом понял, что такого быть не может в самолете и вырубился)) смешно было наблюдать на 11 тысячах метров, как он тщетно пытается построить маршрут до дома😂 постоянно изменяя маршрут с лагом в несколько десятков км😃 Такие дела Заснять этот цирк есесна не было возможности, ибо телефон один
Speed on hight altitude is broad term , you have TS ( true air speed ) , IAS ( indicated air speed ) and GS ( ground speed ) .... sometimes IAS is 250 KNOTS and GS is 600 KNOTS or TAS 620 KS. Depends about tail wind or nose wind. I flying in A 320 - with 660 KT ( "sound speed ") but this is not speed of this aircraft in air, this is speed aircraft consindering of ground. Speed is relativ term on air :)
