To see Undertaker make his way to the ring for the main event of Wrestlemania in his original black and grey attire was an awesome sight and him winning the title made that moment even more special
@warhawkBeyond2040 Imagine if he does it now a days the crowd and real wrestling fans who know the history of The Undertaker would be like BAH GAWD AM I BACK AT 1991 ?!?
NaKaZaTeLeN if Undertaker ever did come out to the ring one day in his original attire unexpectedly and it wasn't leaked and no one knew about it beforehand, i think the entire universe would explode in shock and excitement. It truly would be a real throwback to the old days of 1991
I don't think it will ever be as good as before, the damage has been done beyond repair but if there was any chance of making better again, then Vince needs to step down and fire the current writers for the show and get new ones because the creative team is absolutely terrible and they need to start concentrating on making new stars.
FacelessWarrior86 not entirely, the jacket he wore at wm 14 was that big collar robe which i wish he would of brought back in the 2000-2010 times as the deadman, a full throwback appearance such as one of the late 90s shirts and tights probably the X crosses would of been cool
@@warplanemasterx6532 Yeah, you're right. I mean the overall idea is the same. Although I am a huge fan of the purple attire. For me, this was the best version.
What an all time great entrance.. despite Austin and Hart stealing the show the night belonged to Taker. He deserved the win and the title that night he endured so much in his career up to then: a short title run, horrible rivals, getting hurt by Mabel.. he deserved so much better but he willingly carried the company in that dire run so he got the strap. His run's underrated too, shouldn't have lost it so early I woulda let him stay until Bad Blood in October. Of course drama queen Shawn had to butt his way into it all.. ugh.
@@futuregohan4837 I think he's talking about Shawn at commentary. Back in the day, Shawn was one of the most selfish and egotistical people around. I know I'm 10 months (thankfully not 2 years) late, but still.

No, he stopped dying his hair lmao.... Marc was born a redhead.... lol, I like the subtlety of 90s WWF and how they weaved reality and storylines- Paul Bearer revealing secrets of UT in '97 and '98- he told the story of little young 'Taker as mischievous redheaded little boy smoking cigarettes and hiding other "bad" behaviors.... that burned down the funeral home, burned his brother, and killed his parents.
Undertaker won this one, but his overall record vs. Sid Justice is not that good, but at least he can claim he beat Sid...Triple H can't say that, John Cena can't say that.
The way I like to imagine, in an alternate world without COVID, taker and AJ had their match at survivor series instead of WrestleMania, (buried alive instead of cinematic graveyard) seeing taker in the grey and black one more time for his retirement match would've been perfect, Hell, I wanted to see that in the "End of an Era" Hell in a Cell match from WM28, but the armored cloak entrance was so damn cool it made me forget about the old attire completely 🤣
