@@s.e.111films3 No, that's not how it works. If you think cards that Mizael did not choose cannot activate their effects, then you're misunderstanding. The effect actually is to allow Mizael choose cards on the field and the cards he chooses cannot activate their effects. The only cards he could choose when *Neo Tachyon resolved its effect* were Heatleo and Sanctuary, but it wouldn't have changed anything.
@@boomcardgamer7294 “After you activate this effect, only you can choose which cards on the field can activate their effects, until the End Phase.” I understand where you’re coming from, because that’s how “negate everything on the field” effects work, but the usage of “After… until the End Phase” makes me think it works otherwise.
This isn't about the negating effect. "After you activate this effect, you can choose cards on the field. Those cards cannot be activated until the End Phase." Mizael vs Kaito: Mizael specifically states that cards he chooses are prohibited from activating. In the same turn, Kaito activated Galaxy Tyranno from his hand to Xyz Summon Neo Photon, which was negated because of Galaxy Tyranno's effect. Both texts indicate that Mizael chooses cards after the effect activates. Again, Blaze Dragon was not on the field when the effect was activated.
