Maybe this is actually feasible for someone who is super super super close and have an impossibly healthy and self-disclosured relationship with their family.... But, personally, the thought of involving my family/friends in my romantic life in this way makes me sick. I feel it would be a betrayal of myself, a deprivation of my independence/freedom of choice to just let any other people choose the person I'm supposed to get into a relationship with. Feeling intense amount of dread watching this show. I wonder if I'm the only one...
