Agreed. Christian the camera guy has a huge rig which can’t be easy to manoeuvre. He’s a great skater. I met him in 2019 when he came to my classes. I was delighted to see his using an awesome Powerslide and stepping plough stop effortlessly on the streets….

Wow. I knew Asha will be in Sutter Skater’s videos sooner or later. Finding those gaps is also important when skating in a crowded skating rink. I need to stop by NYC again. Very good video. Editing is top notch. ❤
I can't believe there are still elevator attendants in NYC, that's crazy! I also loved how you skated past a police care while running a red light and then just went into the middle of the road and started doing a little spin! That's just taking the piss! Hahahahahaha!
Yeah, my building still has its original elevator, I think it's pretty cool. Cops have to respect flow, if they see you know what you are doing they most likely will leave you alone. I wouldn't say running red lights is "legal" in NY, but there are unwritten rules of what is cool and what isn't.
Love your video. People always say if you can make it in New York, you can make any where! 25 years ago, I skated these many streets, a lot of memories.

I hope you're back into skating now and we inspired you to get rolling. I was so happy when I showed up for this shoot and Christian was there as he was my student in 2019 and it's always so gratifying to see what someone has done with a bit of foundation building..... he's an awesome skater too with a wicked Powerslide!
The parallel slide is also hairy one for me too, although the way Asha provided tips it reminded me of the way I can slide with shoes on wet ground for ages. So it would mean my balance and positioning should be very similar to get a parallel slide!
I’m so impressed that brit can actually skate 😮. I all the time see them on this electric shitty scooters. I’ve never seen in London anyone who skates like you guys do it here, so fast and skilful.
There are loads of street skaters in London but you might not see them all the time. London is far more challenging than New York, narrower streets, two way traffic it’s hectic! Most of the time in NYC you are passing slow or static cars….. it was super fun.
Thanks for keeping the parallel slide segment at the end. I found the mistakes I’m making when trying to learn that skill. 🙌 Hopefully I’ll be able to learn it by end of this week 🤞🤞

everytime i see you riding down the street jungle, i watch this with mixed feeling... on one hand, it looks like so much fun, like being in a videogame, but on the other hand i am afraid, you put some pedestrians in a more dangerous position. 😶🌫
Not trusting a slide is how it is on inlines. You never know what's going to happen, grip or slip, or where you are going to end up stopping. That's where Quads are far superior, for hockey stops and slides with total control.
