Henry has a really interesting motivation: His psychic powers developed in his childhood in such a manner that he immediately saw the worst secret of any person he met. It was from this that he developed his worldview that all of society is just a pile of hypocrisy and lies, and that he would tear it down rather than pretend there was goodness and beauty in the world. As for why Henry didn’t finish off Brenner during the Hawkins Lab massacre, I’ve got a working hypothesis: He had seen Brenner laid out unconscious after that door crashed in, at which point Henry killed Ten. Then his plan was to recruit Eleven to his side - and they would go finish off Brenner together, to mark her first kill.
I can literally imagine (if we ever get more of that scene) Henry slowly stalking closer to Brenner to finish him off and then getting sent across the room by 002. It kinda sucked for me that we only saw Henry killing 002 but not the fight that definitely ensued before hand. We literally saw that (other than El and Henry) 002 was the strongest person in that lab. Would love to see them go toe to toe for a little bit longer.
@@erickleefeld4883 I'm not saying at all that it would've been a close one, but 002 definitely would've at least given him some problems. It would be so cool to see Henry win a fight against another strong psychic, we've only seen him against Eleven and he lost that. I feel like it would add to the intimidation factor if we saw him actually get some push back from an opponent and still be so much stronger. Idk, I just think it would be cool. Maybe, in season 5, Dr Owens does a couple more sessions with Eleven and the thing that finally unlocks her full power is actually getting to see Henry's massacre. Could be a quite natural way of strengthening El while still showing how powerful Henry/Vecna already is
i think the reason why the writers suggested to watch over season two again and focus on dart specifically is because dustin had a relationship with dart and he stopped dart from immediately killing him despite the hive mind. this is similar to when eleven distracted billy by showing him his good memories breaking billy away from the hive mind. I think… maybe, just maybe, will or eleven will have to show vecna his good memories to survive. maybe all the people who vecna kills, (since they are still there in his mind) will have to show vecna or remind vecna of their good memories, showing them the good in the world that henry was so against.
Correct me if I'm wrong, but I thought it had been established that The Upside Down was already there; Eleven did not create it, she just accidentally opened a door to it. Also, @8:45 Henry didn't create the mindflayer! It was shown in the flashback of him exploring TUD that Demogorgens and the Mind Flayer were already there coexisting; he just used his powers to mold the Mind Flayer into the shape he wanted (which is what we then see in S3 onwards). I can confirm what you have said. It is subdtly out there, but saw the “First Shadow” on stage last night which reinforces it. There is so much more than what we think. The depth of each Character’s story is awesome. Also some new (old) faces from 1959 - I hope we get to see these new ones in S5 and that they release The First Shadow on Netflix
@@shahinmotamedi654 yes I saw it on Dec 11th. It was just before the official launch (Dec 14th) so I want to see it again as there are so many details you might miss amongst all of the special effects. Also, certain parts are now just a faint memory. Still, I think that the material we already have from the series is enough - the extra hints are purely based on what people have speculated, so we can only wonder about the future of the story.
@@shahinmotamedi654 what I can tell is that there is more to Henry than what we think. The play makes you kind of feel bad for Henry because despite of all the bad he’s done the reasons why he did it explains why he is such an evil character - but is he alone in all of it? This dark world (Upsidedown) might already be there… who created it though? We could have a massive plot twist l, but nothing is very clear as they want to leave both of those who have seen the play or not to still speculate it. So this is what I believe the play reinforces, he might not be “alone”.
Quick Theory, You how in season 1, Will used a fire ball in D&D and missed and got taken. In season 4, Erica beat Vecna in D&D. Will Erica kill Vecna in season 5?

Here"s my theory. So, Papa told their child not to involve emotion in their psychic power. 001 then teach 011 to use anger and hate to be more powerful. And yes it's working. 011 getting stronger. 008 also teach same method to 011. But the gangs use wonderful memories to fight back. We can see it when they try to save Will and of course when Max escape from Vecna. Papa will failed on his project because he can't create beautiful memories. Vecna will failed getting stronger because he use trauma, anger, and hate. El will be the strongest because she have beautiful memories.
We know why he uses a clock! He explains that he thinks clocks keep ppl like slaves.. everything has a time and he wasn’t going to abide by societies rules and live a ground hog day
I noticed that to I believe he actually must have a connection to the clock like it may be the origin of his power but I also think he hates the restrictions time puts on people and the stress people put on themselves in society, him reversing the clock represents him going against order, going against what he believes holds us back. I think he may want to freeze time in all of this, and he’s already done it in the upside down.

@@kimberlyel82That’s actually my favorite part. I agree with some of what he says but he’s got it all wrong, and completely misunderstands everything. He thinks he’s being liberated by hurting others for the sake of his freedom, and happiness, but it always comes right back to bite him. It may seems like he’s winning but it’ll all come crashing down in the end can’t wait to see how they put a end to his madness lmao.
Kate Trefry, who is a writer on ST and wrote the play, said that Hopper and Bob will have a Steve & Dustin like relationship. Perhaps the reason for including Steve & Dustin in the clip is to remind you of that buddy relationship in anticipation of Hopper and Bob.
So everythinhg is kinda different. The First Shadow took it back to its Lovecraftian roots and Mind Flyer / Vecna relationship to Sauron / Saruman. In 1943 there was project related to USS Eldridge (real myth) and ship disappeared to Upside Down. Whole crew was killed by Demogorgons except Brenners father. He told about it to him on his death bed and Brenner wanted to repeat this experiments in Nevada. But one scientist wanted to do it on his own and started experimenting in caves. Creel family lived nearby and Victor found way to caves. He was transported with scientist to Upside Down, where he was infected (same as Will or Billy) by Mind Flyer. That changed his personality and DNA, so he got his powers. Family then moved to Hawkins as we know from S4, where Victor started to be more and more under influence of Mind Flyer. Brenner knew that someone was in the caves and was looking for him... and finally he found Victor. He became 01 and when Brenner started his MK Ultra project, he infused Victors blood to pregnant women. It means that all powers comes basically from Mind Flyer (altered DNA is his particles) and its possible that if they will succesfully kill Mind Flyer, all people with abilities will loose them forever. And when El sent Victor to Upside Down... it was his second journey there. We just saw fragments of his past... and maybe he does not even remember it, because Infected people loose their memories. Victor also did not create Mind Flyer, he just gave it shape of spider.
Mum has soething to do with vecna having powers ...wat if his dad also inhaled the fertilizers that kill the offspring hense leading the mum to seek scientific assistance somehow giving him superpowers
Dustin being able to counter the mind flayer's hold on Dart through compassion and protection showed that Vecna's reach isn't absolute. Also, I can't wait to see Joyce and Hopper smoking a joint under the stairs when their teacher chases them. You know it was weed they were talking about when Joyce coughed on the first hit, since she's a steady smoker so it definitely wasn't just tobacco.
Will will sacrifice himself for the party- just like season 1 episode 1. (Mike says it to Lucas) I’m predicting his death along with Joyce and maybe even Jonathan. Idk… I do t think it will be what we expect at all.

Henry was too young to be a clock maker they just show him turn back the time on the clock and he’s obsessed with it my theory is that clock is the origin of his power and he likes to use it as a reminder of time and the scene where Henry reverses the clock is representing him going against it, the norm, against the burden and control time has on people.
Maybe the way dart went against the hive mind to protect Dustin, it's showing that everyone Vecna killed does actually become a part of him, and can pull him apart, Billy to protect Max eddy to protect Dustin Barb to protect things ect..🤔🤔🤔 it reminds me of an episode of Dr who with David Tennant, with the absorboloff? The whole time watching Henry vecnas origin flashback I was thinking of Michael Myers I was like this is probably how Michael was as a kid messing with animals maybe he had some powers that he developed creepy kid like Michael and at least in the novelization the mom and grandma knew there was something up with Michael so they had a appointment set up for the next day already to let professional evaluate him of course they get home and he kill his sister why didn't he try to do anything to his parents who knows but once incarcerated anybody that mess with him either end up dead or hurt and his parents later died in a car crash did he really have a part in these events he must have some powers like vecna not as much but some Lol imagine if Michael Myers had the powers vecna had he'd be unstoppable lol
What if there exists a timeline where Eleven actually DID join Henry, and that’s how the Upside Down was created? Maybe she did create it, but also somehow the timeline was able to be changed (though the upside down was permanently created).
With the clock in the woods!!! It cracks and makes a X just like Hawkins did at the end of s4 and spiders crawled out of it!! Soo…monsters/something is going to come out from the middle of the X just like the spiders in 5:01 now it’s just a theory but one that might be right
Something I feel might happen in season 5 is either eleven or will sacricficing themselves to save the other by joining Vecna, I really want to see how their relationship has built in the next season

Vecna ruined the show for me. Basically, every paranormal aspect of this show is the result of a little boy just one day deciding he's gonna try to develope telekinesis on his own... And he manages to pull it off.
Vecna HELPED the show. It gave us a true main antagonist instead of just having creatures from a different dimension wanting to take over the real world. It gave us a big bad that can’t be immediately stopped by enhancing El’s powers.
That’s so upsetting Eddie’s character is as the worst addition to season 4 I have no idea why anybody would champion a coward lol dude literal sat by and cried like a bitch while people actively got murdered in front of him haha it took like 6 people to die in front of him to finally do something and that was a damn mettalica solo which wasn’t even that good I really really hope he is taken out of season 5
He already died I hope he stays that way, I thought he was pretty cool but he’s no hero, his death was so unnecessary he ran back to fit demobats when he could’ve escaped.
