Thanks Ben, Doing these videos, takes up some of the time.. This Matrix range is much affordable, than some other brands.. Take care lad, and look after yourself and family...👍
I'd love to see a comparison video between some of the mid-range poles, between the mtx3, the g90 and the new tri-cast perception xn, surely it can't be just me who seems a bit stuck for choice hahaha. Thank you for doing these vids though, they are really are informative.
Wish I lived a bit further North as Bobs tackle do what it says on the tin, ie,good customer service even to us softy southerners. Must be wonderful to go into a tackle shop and see every pole on the market side by side. Angling Direct seem to be buying out all of the tackle shops now and I sincerely hope Bobs tackle stays as it is under the same ownership. The only way to see a pole down here is to have a look at your different mates poles and on recommendation. Keep going Bob....
honestly thanks for much for this video!! i’ve been looking at the mtx2 but i only really need 13m so is there much difference between the 1 and 2 in the hand? as there doesn’t look like much of a step up till you get to the mtx3? cheers
Nice work Ben. I’m looking for a 13m pole with 2 or 3 top 4 or 5’s that will only be used on natural venues for silvers. Just a pleasure angler these days so a couple of rigs will suffice although I used to match fish at a fairly high level so appreciate quality gear. The Daiwa G90 or the MTX3 Ultra seem to fit the bill especially as they are both available in a 13m format. Which one would you advise Ben? Also, as I’ve been out of the loop for a while, anything else you might point me in the direction of ie. Sensas, MAP, Preston, Browning etc? Thanks.
Hi I watched all the pole reviews you have done on Map , Matrix and Daiwa but I haven't seen one on Preston . I have a Preston edge monster 8.5 m which is a great for pulling in carp even over 10lb, but want to step up to 13m or 14m i have looked at the Preston protype X200 as well as the ones you feature in your review. i was just wondering what you would recommend my budget it around £500
I know you have got a map 101 but the question is which one would you recommend map 101 or the matrix mtx 1. I'm a novice to pole fishing so I would like your advice.
I purchased the garbling max 1000 at £2200 quid a few years back, it is light at full length and comes with spares etc, BUT unless you treat it with kid gloves it is not very strong and I found it much too simple to snap, crack, or break many sections far too easily. It has cost me a bomb in replacing sections that have just been dropped on hard surface or banged against a rod rest etc,. This is not sour grapes just a hint on its strength. I now have a much cheaper Map pole which has seen me dumping my Garbolino. PLUS when spares are ordered they take ages to arrive for some reason. Just a hint mate and hope you get a decent pole somewhere.

@@Angling4U - Hi Ben great videos -- Which do you think is a better pole to fish with MTX1 or Diawa C2, not bothered about packages as you can add to them as I am looking at a new pole. Have you done the Preston poles?
Hi Ben. Just looking for your personal advice. I want to step up from a margin pole to a 13m pole that can cover most fish. Silvers up to match type carp as a lot of my local waters are mixed with everything. What would you say is best at the entry level price of £500 or lower. Thanks in advance. And great videos.
@@Angling4U thanks for that mate. That has the short list. Down to 2 from 5. Lol. Map seems the better pole from your reviews. Again thanks for the quick response. Top vids and tight lines
