You need walkie-talkies so one can be managing the line and the other can radio back the numbers. Team work.

It’s been more than 40 years since I dealt with fences and livestock … and then it was barbed wire! And we still had to chase the cows back in! Good luck!

Our cattle do well staying in; we have barbed wire and a solar powered electric fence. However, our hogs got out about 3 weeks ago.....that was fun for my husband. 😊

I hate to say it but I use roundup. 😲😢 I have a gravel pad that's not used much and lots of cracks in the old cement around my house. This spring I focused so much on my garden and getting my lawn to grow (90% was tore up for dirt work and drainage) that weeds had just taken hold. I can't bend over to pull them (migraine trigger) so I sprayed. Next spring I'm going to spray RM 43 which should last year long, it's what farmers use for fence lines and super concentrated. IDK we do what we can but sometimes we need to give in 🤷‍♀️

Did Sam say he might use Round Up??? NOoooooo
@TealHouseFarm
@TealHouseFarm 3 месяца назад
No…he was saying that’s what some people do to stop having to trim the fence constantly. We won’t be doing that

At least you're not dealing with horses. I've heard from more than one person that a horse will time the pulse then when off, work to snap a wire with thier front hoof.
