I do appreciate that Nick kind of said "that's a line I won't necessarily cross". The reason Hannah got defensive towards Clay at the end was because whether or not it was an underwear shot - it was still an invasive photo of you taken without your consent by some guy she liked, and was spread around. Even if that does make Justin look like the bad guy more - this is highschool and unfortunately, popular jocks do get more leniency, and women are always shamed more. Also, it's still an invasive photo of yours being sent around. She went to Clay for comfort (by deflecting) and Clay (granted he's a socially awkward teenage boy) went all "maybe you shouldve waited" (not verbatim) which kind of again puts the blame on her, or kind of shames her - and that does feel shitty. Because, again, she was the one who was taken advantage of by having an invasive photo taken of her without her consent. Also, she is supposed to be a teenager - when you're a teenager, things like these feel like the end of the world. Now, i'm not saying Hannah isn't a bad person by any means (especially getting further into the seasons) but she is human. And i'm more so speaking of her as a person centering around this episode. But great reaction nonetheless! I'm loving that you guys seem to be posting more and more videos frequently! Another banger from Nick & Corey!
Not only was the pic spread but Justin made up the rumor that him and Hannah did the devils tango and the picture was his "proof". The whole 1st season is shocking and has terrible events that cause great character development as time progresses, and season 2 throws so many questions and different flashbacks from different povs so Hannah's story doesn't seem as accurate to the real version of events.
lmfao i love your reactions- i lowkey loved every single season of this show honestly. after season 1, for some reason the show just feels more comforting than it does depressing.
The rest of the season does get genuinely really depressing. As someone that's been suicidal and for reasons that some of which are similar to Hannah's (private stuff being sent around, being r*ped, etc) it did feel a ittle heavier going through the season. (cant say the same for s3 and 4 but yeah)
I am terribly sorry for what you've gone through, and I have gone through similar situations, but they've only just watched episode 1. Unless they don't care about having shows/ scenes spoiled for them.
Omg 😳 I'm so deeply sorry for what you've been through ... Hope you find comfort and escape the demons in ur past life and traumas... More power to you 💕.
Say what you want about this show, but it started some amazing debate around the topics of suicide, depression, bullying etc. Some things that were NEVER talked about in school were finally addressed because of it! In the end of the day, it did way more good than harm.
React to more 13 reasons why, every episode(side) its a different person/reason and story so it would be funny to see your reaction, loved your reaction btw 😂
Oh god, not this show. The writers somehow managed to butcher every sensitive topic they covered. Another series that went on way too long and became a ridiculous soap opera. I feel sorry for these poor guys having to watch it
@@tanita6234 Yeah I was gonna say dude is overreacting a little. The first season was really well received by critics and fans alike, it’s everything that followed that ruined it.
@@buzz9894 She slit her wrists in the bathtub and the original showed the scene in great detail with the water turning red, open wounds, blood everywhere
@@buzz9894 I watched the show when it originally came out, so I'm not entirely sure what the scene was changed to. I just remember the horrific bloody bathtub and the parents freaking out and just the sheer amount of blood.
This is one of my favorite shows you feel for Hannah and all the characters I feel bad for the guy who plays Bryce because of him playing Bryce he got death threats
Why are people so brain dead that they'd give an actor death threats for a character they had to portray?? Like the actor isn't anything like Bryce wtf people!!
I personally looved season 1, and then i was following mainly cause of Justin cause his story really impacted me and i recognized my self a bit in him, just to do what happen in the end (i wont spoil) but fuuuuuck!! After season 3 and a half, i litteraly had to force myself to end the show. But damn who cares since yall are just hilarious like always 👌😂
True after season 3 I debated watching further. I did and season 4 was just terrible I had to force myself to finish watching it. The last two episodes of season 4 were heartbreaking though
I watched the show when it first came out, as it was really popular, when I was about 9. The scene where Hannah slit her wrists traumatized me. While it was very graphic, i just couldn’t look away. I ended up watching the three seasons, but by the time the fourth came out I was older and realized it was a bunch of garbage. This show was an absolute wreck and only encouraged suicide/violent behavior. Glad no one thinks this shows good.
@@deadsetondreams1988 no one should ever watch this show lmao. I was young, and it completely messed up my morals/perception. I forgave Bryce and felt bad for him in S3. I also felt bad for that Monty(?) because I was a closeted queer kid in a Christian school. I fully thought they deserved better and should have been forgiven for about 2 years, like wtf.
Love you guys but I will say if you guys decide to do this show and other shows like euphoria I love the jokes but there are some really important and triggering topics in these shows that I feel like would bum you guys out and ruin the mood. Especially in later episodes. This is actually one of my favorite shows but I can only watch certain episodes once because they triggered me so bad, but they bring up very important and interesting topics.
13 Reasons Why has been notorious for its controversial themes running along its episodes. They claim that s*** was heavily glorified in this, which I know can debatable.
Lmao haven’t even started this and could imagine how flat out drunk and hungover I’d be this is one of the most depressing but good shows out there that I’ve watched
now that i am older i know. i suffer from severe anxiety and mild depression, but at the time the show did make me feel seen (there wasnt many shows talking about these problems) but yeah, you haveto wtch it knowing isnot very realisticor accurate but i kinda feel some weird fond towards it. idk
@@chiaraserrano6 I just remember when it came out, that there were quite a lot of copy cats of Hannah. People who thought they would also get that satisfying revenge on people after they're dead. And as a teen who watched it (because it was aimed at teens, which shocks me) and who was suicidal, Hannah's unpromptly vivid suicide scene definitely fucked my brain up for a good while. In the sense of "she can do it, why can't you?". It's definitely only a show that should be seen by stable adults and not be marketed towards teens. But it's obvious the writers don't really care about mental health given the nightmare show that is season 3 and trying to act like Bryce, the serial rapist, can be forgiven.
Almost 13 depressing reasons for 13 Reasons Why. The only characters I like in the show after all 4 seasons are; Scott Reed, Alex Standall, Tony Padilla and Tyler Down
lmfao i used to love this show until i learned about how its problematic and a lot of people find it disrespectful for the writers to butcher certain sensitive topics the way they did
Can I please meet you guys? And like do a video with you? Fr. Your videos change my days from complete shit and wanting to die to “I feel like I’m hanging out with my friends and actually happy.”
Corey's arms look like they're about to explode and yellow fat cells will come running down his body. Nick looks like a freakish giant who's laugh terrifies the citizens of his tiny mountain community.
Uh you see in my opinion I think it was decently good the first two seasons were pretty good, then it just turned kinda bad. It is about a girl who ki*** herself you find that out from the very beginning soo. If you think your mature enough to watch and be able to handle pretty depressing things then watch. There are many moments in the show (without spoilers) that are quite depressing, poorly represented and people also criticize this show. It's up to you really I think it's pretty good but it depends on you
