Taking a walk at MacArthur park(WestLake District) PT2 

The quality of ambient light in the late afternoon is memorable in Los Angeles. Low angle off the horizon, giving street a certain look and feel. If this was San Francisco there'd be long shadows on the sidewalks at this hour. (Market Street is classic) And the fog would be rolling in, down the slopes of Twin Peaks and drifting east. I always loved the years that I worked in SF.

I was just there two days ago. Love the street eats and all the vendors selling their wares. Years ago I lived on Westlake between 7th and 8th.

I remember the 99 cents store use to be there.

I got my fake ID over there back in 2006 on 6th and Alvarado from the Mexican guys yelling mica. Do they still sell them over there. Haven’t been since 2006
