Sir, the church of the Lord is made up of us, people, individuals. We are the church. The church is not a building that we go to once or twice a week. We are the church. And we cannot limit the Lord's power and the power of the Holy Spirit to a building 🏫. The Holy Spirit's power can work anywhere, in your home, your office, your car, in a train, in the middle of a flight, even in a public toilet. My mom was led to the Lord in a public toilet at a train station many years ago. And she shared Jesus with us her children and we're now saved. You are the temple sir. We cannot confine His ability to perform miracles and work in our lives and experience His power to a church building. He lives in us and is everywhere all of the time. Shalom 🙏🏾

I understand the basis for your opinion, but in our faith, it represents Christ’s substitutionary sacrifice. Thank you for taking the time to leave your thoughts.

And through this we honor our Lord Jesus Christ whom was the ultimate sacrifice that redeem us from sin and deliver us of the need of any more sacrifices as they did in the old testament for the forgiveness of sin. This idea isn't much different than indigenous tribes living deep in the jungles far away from modern society. They cannibalize in order to absorb the dead persons power.
