Had a Miata from 1990 to 2002. Red with pop up headlights. 115 hp but it really was quick due to the light weight. What a fun car that was.

Great call on the black soft top and new color! I have a 2020 polymetal grey miata but the grey top is starting to show wear after dropping the top down all the time and parking outside.

My wife wanted to "just see" a ND2 back in early 2023. That's how it always starts, we are going to "just see" a car. Our local Mazda dealer is the highest volume Miata seller in the country and they had a lot of 2022 models they needed to unload. They offered $2250 off MSRP and no dealer fee. Mazda was doing 0% for 36 months on 2022 models at the time. My wife test drove the car and after watching her smile the entire time driving with the top down, you know the car came home that day. It's a white, soft top Grand Touring with manual transmission of course. We both love the car. It's so much fun to drive, fast or slow. The clutch is so easy to use, if you want to learn how to drive stick this is a great car to learn on. It's really well built and is really good on gas. Great choice buying a Miata Que, seeing this video from you was a pleasant surprise.

I would recommend the Goodwin racing exhausts. They have multiple different sound/power levels just choose from, and I hear great things about them, loud and fun when you want them to be, and because of the hemholtz chambers, not boomy when you don't want them to be. Enjoy your ride! Miatas are as fun as anything.

About to order mine this weekend hopefully. Club softop in red with BBS package. I'll do an exhaust and down the line MCS (best but very expensive) or Bilstein (great and affordable) coilovers. This going to be ny first convertible, Im coming from a similar car ownership profile as you and also a dad so wife, son and I cant ride together in this toy lol Did you pay MSRP or get any deal. Would love to hear more on that.

Love the MX-5. Mazda does a great job especially with their interiors. The buckets look great. How much did you get for the GRC? I like convertible roadsters but if you only want to have one car it can’t be a roadster.

I was gonna get an Integra Type S but they wanted to lowball me on my ZL1 trade in. Gonna get an ND3 instead. Tons more usable power.

Nice color ... I had the 2019 ND in soul red. I like the car, but it has just 181 hp, maybe if it had 220 hp I would keep it. Enjoy the ND3.

I'd get the Z4 for the classic British roadster feel and about 400 HP. But Miata looks fun and also gives you the classic British roadster feel.. I look forward to see you put a supercharger kit on it.

Check out the Tomei Expreme Full titanium exhaust. Absolute killer sound

I hear this car is better than the venerable S2000. The steering is better (and ND3 improves it), the car feels lighter and more toassable. You also have more torque. Its quicker in a straight line (videos on youtube). The manual is second best to that. Theres a lot more aluminum in the Miatas construction as well and modern safety. Savage Geese did a great video calling the ND a future classic. I suspect with good coilovers and a front sway (plus exhaust) its going to be one of those rare real enthusiast picks.

I'm aware of the changes to the steering rack from the ND2, how is the steering feel? Is there more, or less road texture in your hands vs the ND2, if you've driven one of course. Congrats on your new car man. The ND's are my favorite car regardless of price. They're so well packaged, and you get forged double wishbone suspension for less than 50k

If you want a bit more body and tone, I really recommend the Borla. No drone, and it gives the engine the sound of a larger displacement 4. Also doesn't have any rasp at full throttle.

One of many dream cars and an amazing platform. Bring it to 200hp naturally aspirated with an 8k redline, exhaust, and suspension that lets it corner flat, and you have the best (new) experience you can buy for under $40k.

If you want a good axle back exhaust the Flying Miata active exhaust is the way to go. Your neighbors & kids will TY. Loud at WOT when the butterfly valve opens - relatively quiet when driving at low speed. Those stock Bridgestone tires will wear quickly so save up for a tire fund right away.

Man thats one of my dream cars. But it has to be in soul red with the tan seats. Thats the best way to get in imo.

Did you get rid of the Integra for the Miata?

The CX-30 is the perfect size for a vehicle IMO. CX-50 is too big IMO, as is the CX-5. The Miata/MX-5 is a bit too small for me as a 6ft2in tall guy, but I still love it (I prefer the RF version though).

Hey man, just wanted to say I watched your other video about the Z/28. If you really want a Z/28 I think you should focus on looking for one. I made a mistake and “settled” for a 2SS 1le instead of getting a ZL1 and truly regret it. Just my opinion as I believe people should get what they truly desire if it’s within reason.

Mazda is a VERY RELIABLE car !

One more thing, Miata not a drift car. The soft suspension and short wheelbase makes it hard to drift. Stiffening the shocks/springs or coilovers will make it easy to slide, but that short wheelbase makes it hard to hold a drift. The new LSD should help though. Its much more a darty autocross and time trial car, something to blast through mountain roads as its very agile. GR86 is designed to drift.

I was going to give you a lot of crap if you actually got an automatic! Fun little car, I can't even fit in them. I have my 1989 Supercharged MR2 for my fun 2 seater with RWD. What I love about it is there are no nannies! Enjoy the car as the weather warms.

Sorry, but both the RF and soft top Miatas are “convertibles”. I’ve owned three soft top Miatas and I have an RF now. The RF is fabulous. (And just so ya know, the Miata is way more fun than any Z28.)
