Congrats on a safe delivery!❤️ Girll, next time before even taking the braids put conditioner and and water in a spray bottle and saturate your hair really well especially the front. @Femmequeentv
@Femmequeentv 8 месяцев назад
No it’s actually better and faster to take braids out dry.wetting make removing the shed hair hard and take hours and water causes hair to swell the shed hair will clump . Never ever wet hair with shed hair stuck

My hair locks in about 3 weeks!
@nubiankmtwq6333
@nubiankmtwq6333 3 года назад
Because they don't move freely like double strands twists or braids, cornrows do not normally lock up if you wash them, take care of them regularly and don't use products that can create matting and build up. When done properly and taken care of the same cornrows can be kept for a long time without the need to take them down. Of course, this method may not work for everyone. The key to any successful protective style is to know your hair and take care of it.

That’s a bad habit to break. I used to do that back in the day. Leaving my box braids in for 9 months to a year, which was due to sheer laziness, not feeling up to taking them out. It dreaded and couldn’t be removed without taking most of my old hair with it. It grew to my waist but was back to neck after removing the dreads.

You can also braid your natural naturally with out anyway weave too. Personally I would leave them in for 7 to 9 months. And the easiest way to clean your hair is braid it in singles and leave then in for 7 to 9 months of choice. You can leave them in for 3 or for whatever you choose on how long you want them in. For better results, leave them in longer and wash it between those months.👍🏼😊 Also eating healthy is also great to have better hair health and rapid growth. And a healthy body. 😊👍🏼❤ Be patient with your hair. Do a protective style, moisturize it and leave your hair alone let it do what it doo!!!😉😁

Otherwise, you have believed in vain. 3 For what I received I passed on to you as of first importance[a]: that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures, 4 that he was buried, that he was raised on the third day according to the Scriptures, Only Christ saves Not works, Faith...

I am on my six month journey will take them out in October 2022. I will keep them washed/ conditioned (every other week), and hair mask (once a month), and the main key is I oil my braids with “wild hair growth oil” and then spray on alikay leave in conditioner daily while under my wigs. I oil & moisture my scalp before I start the day and before I go to bed once I remove my wigs. Just in two months because I took them down to re-braid them my hair has grown 😅. It’ll work out just stay consistent.

What do you do to take care of the hair during the time it’s in the braids? Any oil treatments or washing or anything? Or do you not touch it completely until you’re ready to take it down? I’m thinking of leaving mine alone for a while to refrain from any type of manipulation, but I would like to know if there’s anything done in between just to ensure the hair is still healthy.

Just loc it. If you’re wearing “protective” styles 90% of the time just loc it, this is not sanitary.

youtuber aaliyah jay didnt wash her hair for 6 months and her hair grew so much and people (white, mostly hispanic, and a lot of black women) were so mean and hateful calling her nasty and unsanitary. this is a BLACK woman thing. either you know about it or you don’t. so people leave their braids in for 6+ months, that’s how you get your hair to grow. OIL THEM! you can still cowash your hair WITH the braids in if you want, but you don’t have to. it’s NOT nasty.

Yes it is nasty to not wash anything for 6 months.
