Very helpful! I have 3 months and some change of buildup with box braids from individual crochet braids. This is going to SAVE ME. Everybody lift me up, because it's about to go down.🤣💪🏾

I used oil to take my braids out. Oil/conditioner is your friend, do not use water to take your hair down

That's what I do. I wash my braids every week and make sure to oil and moisture. My hair was really clean and buildup up was minimal but there was a bit of dust in my hair. But don't put too much oil in your hair or else it'll be really oily when you take it down.

Hii can anyone tell me how I can remove buildup with the aloe vera plant I have searched on RU-vid but many are using the apple cider method and I don't want to because I'm currently transitioning so do u just cut the leaf and put the gel? Or blend it?

3 months? Y’all be making me so jealous I really wish I can keep my hair in that long I gotta take down my hair to see the growth it drives me nuts !!! I’ve had my hair in for a week I wanna go 5 months if I can I’ll say 1 month the least I can do I’m speaking on 2 months though lol
