Taking every doordash order for 6 hours straight… not my best idea! I do my mileage and my Doordash Hourly Pay Breakdown at the end. All of this on Doordash earn by time
This doordash challenge involves me doordashing for 6 hours straight, however I have to accept every doordash delivery that comes my way. If you are a doordash driver… I don’t suggest doing this. The high mileage low pay orders really take a hit to your doordash income and although the high doordash pay priority is nice, taking every single doordash order can really take a toll on you and your car. I did have a couple no tip doordash orders that really put a damper on the mood…however some of these doordash no tip orders will surprise you… im here to answer is earn by time doordash worth it ?

Unfortunately we can’t live by the no tip no trip motto today because no tip today = I’m accepting it and regretting it every step of the way. So doordash no tippers are loving me today. As I made my way through the video, my door dash acceptance rate passed 50% and I got the doordash priority orders. So join me on this interesting doordash ride along of accepting all doordash orders

Earn by time is so bad for the miles per dollar. You actually got good orders by Doordash standards (I think 0 no-tippers), and you still had to drive a crazy amount of miles.

As platinum I do earn by time mostly as the EBO orders since being platinum are awful! I’m considering cherry picking but I like the dash anytime function

Depends on where you are, dawg. Where I live doing earn by offer is a complete waste of time. You only get ever get $2.50 orders for mostly 10-15 minute drives. Earn by offer is a minimum of $16.50 per hour so that same drive, which you have for 90% of orders is guaranteed to be more than $2.50. I rarely make less than $5 per order, which is significantly more than what I'd be making on earn per offer.

pay by time gets you 90% no tippers in my area & it shows cause I sometimes ask the restaurant how long that order been there & they tell me at least 15mins now. I now @ that point, i'm not getting any tip(s) from these orders. Once had a customer call me cause I was taking long. Sent them a picture of the busy Mcdonalds & they never replied, lol

@@dbzownz12345 Someone did that to me saying their delivery was "guaranteed to be there by x:xx." This was the reply after I sent a message telling them I was inside of the restaurant, it was busy and they were still preparing their order. I immediately unassigned it because those are the people likely to give you a bad rating.

Way to capture exactly how I feel at red light while on earn by time. Let's not forget when the order isn't ready by the time you arrive. Waiting 10 minutes for the order to be ready is the worst!

I always drive like I have 3 newborn babies in the back seat when I'm on earn by time. 😁What sucks the most is the drop-off locations, lots of office buildings downtown on the 6th floor and areas I would definitely decline on UberEats.

i dont blame you & most of the time, you get NO TIP. Then the customer has the audacity to call/text asking where you're. Then I only then find out these mfs paid no tip for driving 7 miles... was pissed. Some ppl just dont deserve to be on the platform if they cant tip for that many miles away

@@dbzownz12345 just had a red card shop for one item at Lowe's. It was for a container of Clorox wipes and I was actually inside of Lowe's when I accepted it. Right away, I messaged the customer to say I was at Lowe's and would message the delivery time after I shopped and checked out. Within 60 seconds, the customer added 120 pounds of salt for saltwater swimming pools (three 40lb barrels). How damn sneaky. If you can afford an inground saltwater swimming pool, you can afford to tip more than $3 for someone to lug that to your house. I unassigned it, but I

I use the estimated time so say I’m at the person house but have 20 minutes to the estimated time I’ll just sit out the house and then at the time hit delivered and get paid. Do not drive off tho or u will get banned like nuggs did

EBT is available in midtown ATL. On UE, it's 20/hour at night on the weekends. On DD, it's 16.75

Earn by time in my market is far better, the ratio for me varies from $10.50 to $11 per hour...that says something, not to mention almost every order is no tip. I've noticed for me, to keep me 'interested' in earn by time it may throw in a decent order with a tip but the vast majority is almost no tip...and then if switching to earn by order I can sit in the zone and not get half the orders. Uber Eats is generally better in my market, doordash scheduling is the factor here for me, too many dashers.

I’ve delivered by time on and off for a week and my highest tip was $2. Idk if it’s cause I live in a super busy place and they just push bad orders to the earn by timers.

It's almost impossible to stay in Platinum status. I dash on the weekends in in Exton and KOP. You get one slow weekend and you fall back into Gold.

Earn by offer seems to be better I’m platinum currently it’s so much better because for drivers who aren’t platinum your way ahead of a lot of people who have to schedule you would love Los Angeles other than the traffic.

In Baltimore I do earn by time and it’s 16:50 on hour plus the distance are short it build up my acceptance rate to 70 so earn by time definitely works for me 😊

I have found that I need to be half to a mile away from a hot zone to get orders. If you're right next to the restaurant, there's a high likelihood that the order will take more than 10 minutes to prepare and a dasher will unassign it. Park a little away from those restaurants! It took me a little while to figure this out.

for acceptance rate yes for completion rate no, it counts both orders. ironically you hurt your acceptance rate only by declining it

Its fine as long as you do not cancel one, as you are still getting hourly pay. I mean are they supposed to give you double pay for those orders? lol not happening. The real issue on a stack, is if you cancel one, your hourly pay may be lost for the time you already waited, and may start from the time you canceled one of them. Also its a pain trying to get that money back from DD. Its funny, they can see you were on delivery the whole time, and agree you should be paid more. But they have to escalate it to payment dept, which could take days or weeks to complete. So I do not so much that both orders are combined in DD pay (tips separate), I know that when I accept, but I cross my fingers that one doesn't get canceled. I use EBO mostly (all dinner shifts), and use EBT when slow, for padding my AR rate. Am at 82% AR now and making min $25 up to sometimes $40 per real hr, not active hr. But according to active time I am around $40 to $45 an hr all the time and its been up as high as $70 hr (I wish). lol

But, if you decline that one stack, you cannot decline anything else for basically two hours ... An hour before the offer and an hour afterwards or you lose the EBT

@@B_Bodziak Stacks only count as one accept or decline. DD changed that a number of months back. So no it doesn't take 2 hrs before you can get back on earn by time. Example: I had a stack tonight (2 orders) and declined them, than they sent a 14 mile order and I accepted and then unassigned. So now thats 3 orders I have not done and I was still on EBT. Then they sent another ridiculous mile one and only then did it take me off EBT. So you can use an unassign to be able to refuse at least one more. But you have to be careful not to go below 95% CR. There is another way and that is to force close the app instead of declining the order. Wait until the app times out before opening it up again, and it should not count as a decline. You can continue to dash on EBT for as long as you want. Its a glitch so be careful using it.

I used to chase the number of deliveries per 100 but easily got it to 150 by not working much. 3-4 a day is easy, but don’t know why I bother with platinum- I drive to lots of clowns
