Skylar and Ben should have dual vocals featured more prominently in this band. Not every song of course, but I feel like it's a missed opportunity to not feature Ben's vocals more - they contrast well with Skylar's. And Jon too, I mean go wild! You're the best songwriters the punk scene never cared about!!
Really nice to see the Such Gold crew still getting love. I still feel bad when I think about their switch to really cool, proggy punk Propagandhi type stuff making them sorta fall off with the fans they had. Skylar started this band after he left SG so it's funny to see Ben and Jon in the band with him now haha.
I just stumbled upon this, really good set. glad y'all mentioned this other band (SG), never heard 'em either. I love propagandhi so that gives me another set of records to explore
Saw these guys at one of my first house shows ever at Nachohouse in New Paltz back in 2018. Had no idea they were associated with Such Gold at all until I saw them play with Belmont and recognized the bassist cuz of his stanky ass bass face lol. Absolute killer bands.
пиздец вокалист душнила, то гитару свою настраивает 3 часа, то не дал ударнику ушки и бороду надеть. все впечатление испортил the vocalist is a weird type. Tuning the guitar for a long time, but the drummer did not frolic, asking him to remove the elk ears and the beard of Santa Claus
@@antoniobarrera1983 I think because it's somewhat cerebral music in an era of instant gratification. They would probably have been more popular in the 70s, I hope they get the recognition they deserve. Hey I was born in 83 too (not 2079)! Happy 40th!
