Is immersion really worth it? Seems like an incredible amount money and effort to spend. If you build a fence that came off your house to the same length of the shed it would reduce the noise your neighbor gets tremendously
I’m sure you’d want the liquid as clean as possible. Would it behoove you to remove the stickers before you drop them in? (Talking about the orange ones on the side, barcode, etc)
THM I know your new tool shed is mainly for yard stuff and your wife? But you know that immersion is perfect for shed with almost no ventilation, so your new tool shed is perfect for this, just need a small corner of the new shed, keeping everything outside your house and no more holes, just an idea.
The "putty" is a non conductive epoxy, used for vibration damping on inductors and transformers. It can be used for anti arcing on high voltage parts as well. Not sure about code with that thing less than 3 ft from your panels. 🤷♂️ this will be an awesome addition to your farm though!
Do you expect to reclaim the 440W from the fan removal on the 2 ASIC's? Im interested in the before/after power consumption including the Fog Hashing draw.
Not until a Bull Run and I can overclock these though through the roof. Than I won't have any concern on power. Last Bull Run I did not have infrastructure or hardware in place, eager to be prepared this time.
@@TheHobbyistMiner It's not really about the price of any coin, and shouldn't matter on bull/bear conditions. It's just a comparison of before/after power consumption so that others who may be considering immersion have an idea of what to expect in terms of electric usage before/after.
@@TheHobbyistMiner Two Months Now , Summer here , 30 to 35º degrees celsius outside temperature, oil(fluid) temperature between 41º at night to 50 mid day , cpu temps beween 70º celsius at night to 81º mid day . 2xbitmain S19 Pro 104THS Summer is ending waiting for temps to go down to overclock, i will use Hive OS firmware for my miners 120Ths first and measure temps and power consumption
So most Immersion Kits come with Dummy Plugs. That trick the board into seeing the fans at 6000 RPMs. Or when you load third party firmware which I plan to, most have an Immersion Mode that turns that off. Great Question!
