Your games and analysis really make me realize how weak my chess is. This is so interesting. Thanks for doing that.

Why can't chess books explain moves this way!? 98% of the books I play through just give a + - or !? with no explanations at all. This is far better than any book I've ever come across.

Thanks for sharing, Kostya. I often have the same type of blindness where I dismiss a move and then make it anyway later

Thanks, Kostya! Very instructive game and pawn structure to learn! When I was seeing the game, before you said that ...Ra2 and Rxb2 was a good follow-up, I had the instinct that Black's position was fine, but I would not know how to play it to prove the compensation. It often happens to me that intuitively I see the best plan, but I do not go for it because there's no clear way of following up and I end up playing something worse and do not take my chances. That's the best lesson that this game taught me: I'll take my chances more often and will not be afraid of losing! :)

You don’t get to play a near super GM every day. Nice job playing an interesting game.

Ah that was frustrating! Chess is too hard, great attempt at making counterplay though. gg!

I've made an observation from your latest videos, don't think it will be a game changer but: it looks like your "desperado sections", when you've concluded you will lose a game, are uncharacteristically weak. I'm not one to break chess performance down to frivolous categories like "I do well against peers but lack killer instinct with weaker players", however there might be something to "putting up resistance" as we've seen Naka and Magz and many others do time and time again. Of course it boils down to seeing variations, which part of chess doesn't, which means you're partially excused if the desperado sections happen with only a couple of minutes on your clock, but, and here I am going to sound even weirder than usual, maybe it is better to run down your time even earlier, avoiding this kind of desperado work by (occasionally) avoiding the positions where you've convinced yourself you're lost. Some deep stool here!

An idea for content.. you could hire strong GM to play classical training game online and join you on zoom for postgame analysis. You could play the game and do the analysis live on twitch then just edit the game review and shared analysis for RU-vid. Saric comes to mind as a big name I saw offering lessons but I bet you could get many big names for the right price to play 1 training game.
