Respect for putting your non engine checked analysis out there!

Hey Kostya, thank you for these recaps! I’m undergoing adjuvant chemotherapy at the moment, and your analysis from the American Open was my primary form of entertainment during my last three-day hospital stay, so I’m really happy now that you’re uploading games from this tournament just in time for my next round of treatment. Chess is the best medicine! :)

Wow, so glad to hear the videos are helping your stay, at least a little bit! Best of luck will be uploading more videos over the next week 🙂. Would also suggest checking out ChessDojo if you're in need of more content!

Great performance in the tournament! No engine, some influence from Jesse? :)

Thanks for posting. Looking forward to seeing those GM wins. Do you think it helped your focus to delay the videos until after the tournament? As someone who values every minute between rounds, I always wondered how you could still eat and rest up when you spend a lot of time analyzing and discussing your previous game!

Sometimes I have time during the event, but in this case I simply didn't have time (or a hotel room) to record the videos between rounds. Probably did help a little bit to rest more between the games

Very nice victory. What do you suggest if white goes 2.d4 against 1...Nc6 ? 2....d6 as well ?

Presenting your thoughts without an engine? Looks like Jesse finally got through to you!

Hahaha I explained it on stream, I just didn't have time to review the games 😇

I rather you just post with having looked at the engine. It sounds nice but I enjoy the deep analysis
