Oh my!! The bathroom’s architecture was already beautiful with the amazing windows but what you did with the bead board and the paint took it over the top. All the details make the room stunning. We had a room that we turned into a bathroom. Just at that time our 1875 church was having a bathroom installed, so a wall had to be removed w/beautiful old beadboard! Could not believe my luck It is now in my bathroom. We added a clawfoot tub, and installed a stained glass window into the wall, just beautiful! Also the sink is a old dresser. added a granite top. We have a old style tile on the floor and a chandelier. Very Victorian! Love your bathroom!

Period correct in every way. I love that you embraced the original integrity of the Home. So many young people try to go modern in a period style Home and I do not understand thar mentality at all. You are the keeper of this old very special Victorian. You have served her well with your thoughtful choices. Yes, I always layer my dark and light, even from room to room. It’s a success when someone enters your home through the entryway, and gets a glimpse of what’s beyond, and just can’t stop themselves from looking or wanting a tour. You have done it all right. This transformation is breathtaking so unique and unforgettable because many people do upgrades for a modern style but you brought back what others don't think about or need. Love how you chose all the elements that bring cohesion to your design. Attention to details like how the colors in the rug blend with the green of the bead board and the wood color of the floor and the dresser...the towels complimentary to the shower curtain... the light fixture old timey and all the metals are consistent with the period. I also have a print that came with the frame almost just like the one over your potty. I purchased it off Etsy as well. You remind me so much of myself when I was very young. I am 60 now but still create all the time, as I am an artists. I suggest you try your hand at gold leafing. It’s so much fun and you can do it.

I would get rid of the pedestal sink put in a floor cabinet with french legs or feet. A shallow cabinet, not deeo front to back, but much wider! Maybe a chopped dresser or buffet or vanity. Looks wonderful! We want a wider plank for the walls in our bathrooms because we are puting in beadboard on the ceilings. Love the height of the beadboard.

I can tell you are a perfectionist. Making sure your area is super clean is so important before you paint. I works of done the trim around the windows green as well. I am a designer now, and I can tell you that you are naturally talented in this area. Job well done sweet girl 🥰👍

New subscriber here. Love the makeover. I am impressed that you did not tape or use a drop cloth. I have painted for years but still am messy. Painting beadboard takes awhile but brushing it gets in all of the nooks and crannies. I love the paint color, fixtures and shower curtain .I have a small dresser in my bathroom that I painted and changed out the hardware. I store soap, q-tips, toothpaste, etc in it. TFS.
