I just happened on this ! Reminds me of James Cullens Yorkie Cossie - didn't Ford mess around with a 7 speed gearbox at a time with an extra short first to get you off the line? This could only be engaged with a collar - From memory James car had it !!

Man that car can pull so much more revs. Gear changing was well early. I can pul 6 an a half k on a standard fiesta. It would have so much more pull as well if it reved up abit more

Poor title, Group A rally cars never had 500hp due to restrictors they ran, so it's either a Group A Escort rally car, with about 300hp (and a whopping 300ftlbs of torque) or It's a Group A Escort rally car with a modified and unrestricted engine that produces 500hp.

Nice i too once years ago had one of these in pearl Blue .Slightly more horsepower but ran a water injection system too to keep down the temps in the intake as you could get it to pre det. Fast it was not supra fast different class of car but no skyline or supra could stay with it on short bendy roads it would eat them on the straits there the victor but they will never out handle one there like shit to a Blanket .
