Good luck, my friend. I am from Puerto Rico too. We have a house in PONCE PUERTO RICO too. It is a very good thing what you are doing. Restoring your grandparents home. You are keeping a lot of beautiful memories alive. The house 🏠 is in a beautiful area . It just needs some major renovations. Painting , roofing , and plumbing work. You can get it all done little by little. At the end you will bring back all the beauty and love back into your family home. Good luck. Please make more videos of your progress.
There's a lot to do, I don't have the resources, and I don't know how to do everything but, I'm going to do whatever I can with whatever I can. I'll keep the progress going. Maybe one day I'll make it better than before. :-D
Yep, and it gets way more complicated. I was hit so hard that I had to stop making videos for a while. The law out here is weird. I wish I could explain. I'm going to get back to it and I do have a video planned for up there in Naranjito but since the gasoline prices have gone up, I basically choose where I go wisely.
You have a great property there!!!! Take your time brother and fix things around the house. The landscaping is gorgeous!!!! The greenery there looks very refreshing! Much 💘.
You have a big job ahead of you but you seem knowledgeable about repairs, which will save you money. I would rent a trencher to dig the water line. It’s back breaking work. Look forward to your journey. I am forever making repairs to my house. I got goosebumps when I saw the photo wall. It was someone’s life.
I'm probably just going to dig the trench with the palo corto and the piketa. Yeah, the photos still send emotions through me. I'm on that wall. It's my family. I'm going to get it done little by little. I don't have much extra money but, I'll do what I can. Thanks for the comment. :-)
Yeah, It's really a special place. There is also lots of very religious people on the mountain where the house is. I find it to be a very spiritual place. With the tall mountains and the streams that can be heard rushing. I know it sounds weird but when I'm there I feel like I'm closer to god. :-D. May God bless you also.
I am in a similar boat with homes in lajas, Cabo rojo and Issabella I love that you speak English bro and the house can take a Hurricane - it's a real keeper A little painf and window
Yo te recomiendo que no corras la electricidad por las lineas viejas porque hay mucha filtracion en el techo y pueden estar dañadas chequea bien antes de hacerlo para que no pierdas tu tiempo.
Do y'all need volunteers just buy me lunch I'm coming to Puerto Rico next month do you have any rooms for rent $200 a month everything included utilities included
lol, sounds promising but, my situation right now is wait. I have to finish a bunch of legal work. I stopped living there for the summer. It's too hot for now. I'm staying in Bayamon. Thanks for the offer. :-)
I was thinking about that. There's this hard pipe called pex pipe. I'm going to ask around a bit but either way. I'm not ready. lol, I still have no electricity there. Been waiting for over 2 months for counter. All is paid for.
Once you fix it up and get livable again it will be beautiful! Great views but since it is not in your name do you have to worry the government can come take it ? Best of luck to you !!
What you said there is a very complicated issue. There are multiple houses. I've actually been having legal problems for the past 2 years but with the property in Bayamon. It's not because of me or the property in violation. I've crashed into an aggressive pack of people that don't want me to control the property I live in. Really, they have no right but they keep hitting me with lawyers and stalling the case. It's turning into a big mess for them while everything is clearing for me. Lots of police action and court action. lol, Sorry for saying too much but, I'm in the end game now. I'm probably going to be reporting a bunch of really relevant things about property soon as I've been forced to delve deep into to Puerto Rican Law. lol, again, I can't even believe I'm writing this in a comment but it's the truth and it's just flowing. 🙂. Best of Luck to you also. Thanks.
I'm going to get there. Right now I'm just catching up from going on vacation. The electrical people keep saying the contador is coming but lol, not yet. I just need to keep doing small things to prepare for bigger things.
@@plantedinpr886 I totally understand. Believe me. Get yourself a single solar panel setup with a battery. At least you can run some lights and charge electronics. They are good to have. Power goes out regularly.
