Agreed. Essential services laws should apply to publicly owned institutions like police, hospitals, schools etc.... if transportation is "essential" should be a public owned option

To strip the rights of the union to strike would be anti union and anti working class in general.

Unions have far too much power imo. Public sector and essential services should not have the right to strike. If no deal is made before a deadline they should go straight to arbitration.
