Really needed this , I just chip away at people forever , but can’t ever get the kill . Gotta practice backairs and down guns into fair 1 is interesting way to setup into drag down ... it looks easily telegraphed but I’m thinking you condition them to shield guns and you just tomahawk grab them ...

Wow this might have been the most useful video (for me) so far, your joker is mad clean btw what are your opinions on joker's bad matchups / is it worth to pick up a secondary or try to power through those bad matchups as a solo main?

thank u! i feel like he doesnt have a matchup that bad that it would have me switch to a secondary, but I personally feel like peach and pikachu are 2 of his worst MUs since (tldr) their archetype and style of gameplay work well against Joker which makes it harder for him to do to them what could be easier against most of the cast. Olimar is also pretty annoying for sure

TooCozy hmmm maybe going through replays would definitely help. I’m in the process right now of looking at what MKLeo and other joker players are doing vs what i’m doing.

Hey man, phenomenal vid as always! i got 2nd at my local from studying your pushing the advantage vid! (lost to a game and watch;-;) I'd like to learn about jokers gun, be it gun tech, movement, options it can cover on ledge, when to throw it out in neutral, etc. I see mkleo do it but struggle from only visual learning so can you make a guide on how to use them? The habit I have is I want to get Arsene quickly. I realized you can’t rely on Arsene because you don’t have him in important situations which I lose in tough fights because I have Arsene early.

how do you properly buffer the fair when you are using guns down? I keep trying but nothing is coming out

you simply hold forward on the cstick anytime during the down-guns animation and it should buffer the aerial right after finishing down-guns. :)

Can you simplify how to attack cancel? When I see you do it, it looks so badass. And all these videos I don’t really understand how they fraise it.

to attack cancel you flick the cstick in the opposite direction you’re facing (essentially a reverse ftilt) and quickly press jump. if done quickly enough, your tilt will be canceled and you will do a reverse neutral air. to do a back air, you do all of this but hold the analog stick the way you were originally facing (so opposite of the cstick!). hope this helps! :)

I'm struggling with getting dragdowns because i always get my falling upairs falling and buffered ones dont Dragdown help :(

buffered upairs aren’t recommended because the final hit comes out before hitting the ground. if you slightly delay the falling upair, the final hit wont come out in time, leading to dragdowns! watch my vid on upair dragdowns “Joker’s Grabloops” to get a more detailed explanation! :)

Whats the best way to time the down-gun after double jumping to get the aerial out in time? I'm finding that I'm really not consistent in it. Maybe I'm doing it too early and not high enough?

yea you have to be at the very peak of your double jump, and make sure to be at the peak of your first jump too! like dont immediately double jump u know 😄

Lau Jin Kun i dropped down, up+B’d and then canceled it into a double jump back air. you can cancel Up+B’s by holding down on the analog stick :)

@@CozyyPRMaybe while you're recording you can have a cam recording you on the controller while playing or use a software that records the inputs realtime. It helps me and maybe other viewers who are more empirical or practical to easily learn the inputs faster instead of vocal demonstrations.
