@@skynchickens300 it was the same thing that i thought. He also could've been trying to revive aqua dolphin to repeat the discarding but now with a monster with a higher attack then exodia. The exodia player just got lucky to draw it so fucking fast lol
@@sonikblade yep, he drew the pieces insanely fast, infernoble would win this 80-90 percent of the time I would say. They have insane hand destruction between smoke and dolphin
Honestly, that quote applies to every Yugioh player. Including me, who runs an Endymion deck and only learned recently that Mighty Endy can't be targeted or destroyed by card effects while he has a spell counter.
@@Caseyuptobat I don't know what 90% of the cards do either. I just let my opponent do whatever they say they're doing like "yeah, okay, cool. yup, you just summoned your 53rd monster, keep playing." or I OTK them with nurse burn in 30 seconds when they draw their first card. And if I don't get the OTK I just accept my defeat, because I have no hand traps, or actually any cards that can block any combos at all.
well here is the thing: you play only one copy of each piece of exodia in your deck, this time the exodia player was quite lucky actually, most of the time even if you would have him draw through half of his deck chances wouldn't be high getting all pieces by simply drawing
Also works great on Synchron players. Imagine them going through the motions and Special Summoning all their wacky shit, only to then have a big sad when the Forbidden One shows up to tell them 'no'.
I remember having a fake copy of exodia and being happy because for me exodia was op as a kid if you ask how did i know it was fake It was full exodia in one card
@@ProUzer it was intended as a troll deck. I'm pretty sure I named the deck something like cancer or depression so I was only playing the deck ironically.

To be fair, you got that in very few draws. I’ll give them the benefit of the doubt and say they were aiming for an OTK since you only had 1 monster, and was betting on you not getting Exodia that fast
@@Dekatron well yes, but it only had 200 DEF. It wouldn’t be difficult to attack over it, even better if they had something with piercing, although that didn’t seem to be the case

Remember kids if your opponent has maxx c simply special summon 40 times if they dont have exodia and if they do have exodia just dont special summon like 20 times

I always keep Exodia in my DM deck, just in case someone tries this challenge. If I had a nickel everytime someone tried to deck me out I'd have 3 wins. Not a lot but weird it happened thrice.
Not as often but I see people try to set up extra deck summons while I have domain up, funniest shit when they special summon stuff from their deck pause for ~10 seconds and concede.
I was using a Super Quant deck when one person decided to use Maxx "C", but since I had the set up to get Great Magnus on the field, so it really didn't matter how many cards they drew. If I could get a monster on the field that is effectively protected from all card effects except my own Super Quant cards, has a high attack (which can get higher thanks to Magnaslayer), can send cards back to the deck, and at full power, can prevent them from adding cards to their hand via special effects, then no matter how much set up I give them, I can effectively undo whatever the final product is.
I had the opposite, used Maxx-C, someone tried to deck me out because couldn't beat Magnas, but I had Nibiru to interrupt them. Plus as we both know Quant's alongside Maldoche's are the deck were milling em to death is a hard job.
My main deck that I play doesn't special summon all that much (Pendulum summon and one Link summon, at most), so under Maxx C, I either normal summon or pass. No use trying to combo off on the same turn. The opponent may have been setting up, but as most YGO players can attest to, they don't read the cards they're playing against. GG on the Exodia win
To give some credit, the showing of cards can go rather fast particularly for players that are new. That being said, I wouldn't let the opponent draw that many cards, and anyone can look at the graveyards for the effect of cards.

I took the challenge as well with dragunity deck did a good combo his hand was full af and I was about to win but then my ego kicked in right before my last attack I activated my last card on my hand maxx c as a flex but then he activated psy gamma I try to negate but he had another one he destroyed my card and my ego at the same time
when maxx c is played. you are given 2 options. stop or keep going keep going should only be used when you know you can either win or deal with the over draw. its better off that they get the one card than more. also ash or call it when available
the only thing i hate about maxx c is theyll probably draw nibiru if they run it. if i plan on winning that turn it really doesnt matter how much they draw but if they draw it you just gotta accept the L

Fucking Blackwings and Toons still shit on meta decks because they're easier to understand than "TRIBUTE 14 LINK MONSTERS TO SUMMON FRUITDICK THE UNDERLORD MINERSHIT, CANNOT BE DESTROYED BY ANYTHING ALSO YOU WIN".
Goblin made a terrible mistake on this duel. He should have discarded your "Exodia the Forbidden One" from your hand on the effect of "Neo Spacian Aqua Dolphin", and made it for game. But, really doesn't matter since you obtain your powerful Number monster, plus, you have "Dark Ruler No More". So, you still won in both ways.
I spectated a duel so I could complete a daily challenge. One of the players (the top one) played Crooked Cook, and then just stalled out the game until he got all 5 pieces of Exodia. It was frustrating to watch because the whole time I was thinking "DO SOMETHING!" And I know it wasn't this duel, because the other duelist was using a Virtual World deck, and couldn't do jack.
Today this morning right before I left for work guy made me draw 15+ cards from my MAXX C since he was using six samurai deck next turn even though I survived with 800 lp he surrendered 😂😂
"Hey, that's an exodia piece! But he used Maxx C so I HAVE to overextend to the point of absurdity evne though there's no way I can logically win this without playing hand removal options!" Either he was an idiot or he wanted to see how long he could play before you drew the last piece. I'm leanining towards idiot. Just like people playing destruction effects on Winda. Or attacking Construct with special summons. People that dense should not be playing this game.
Even if he wasn't paying attention to the Pot of Prosperity showing Exodia, he should have at very least have understood that Crooked Cook is a stall tactic used by decks looking for indirect wins. They're typically too slow, and rely on heavy draw power. Giving that guy a stack of cards is insane.
the first seconds of video are actually tense because you legit do not know for Wich of them the Maxx C it's gonna backfire... until you see the Exodia head draw.
I gotta say, i really enjoy when people use maxx c on me when im playing my monarch deck. Im just sitting over here thinking you might replace that C if you get lucky, otherwise i hope you weren't relying on that draw lol.
Honestly what’s shocking to me isn’t the opponent saw exodia and still took the chance, it’s that you somehow pulled all 4 limbs right after another. The only time I’ve seen better luck pulling exodia is when someone literally started with all 5 pieces.
mistake 1 taking the maxx c challenge after seeing exodia.....to bad you couldnt discard the head off dolphin then the maxx c would have helped you deck him out instead
As someone that overcome a Maxx "C" this is compete idiocy. Exodia decks are usual designed for a lot of drawing, or stalling so adding a bunch of cards to the users hand is suicide.
To be fair, just exodia isn't worth much for taking the max c challenge if he thought he could otk you over crooked cook. Common exodia luck dictates the last piece is glued to the bottom of your deck so a lot of that was pure chance.
You know without exodia they probably could have gotten to deck out, but they saw the pot of prosperity turn 1 so he knew better but didn't seem to care. Gotta love yugioh lol

I used Maxx c on someone turn 3 and not only burned through my entire deck but he that last summon in so Maxx c killed me. I should have replay but I was too traumatized to remember that
