Another great video! However, the tongue weights of these trailers would steer me to MDC or Imperial - both of which do as well on trails in your videos
Does Shane have the new fully articulating hitch on his jeep when towing the 16.4? If not I'm currious to see how much more effective the hitch will be in terrain like this
I assume this was filmed soon after the Overland Expo PNW. The sky was clear, now most of the west is covered with smoke from wildfires. I have been searching NOHAA web sites for areas that are not so smoky. No luck for next week. I feel sorry for those who are traveling on scheduled vacations doing these smoky days. Not fun.
7,750 lb gvwr less all the aftermarket add ons. The Pause 16.4 has a tounge weight capacity of 805 pounds and likely more if fully loaded. Not a wise choice to pull a Pause 16.4. They post videos on only going up to 80% of capacity and once even mentioned 60% yet they still pull trailers like this with a jeep.
Over 800 lb hitch weight and possible more when loaded on a Jeep. When are you guys going to stop encouraging folks to pull these off road tanks with TV that cant handle them
These trips are great for testing the capabilities of the trailers. However, i don’t want to do these type of things but do want the quality of the Pause. Love all the external features including the outdoor kitchens, lithium and solar, independent suspension, etc. but just not crazy about the inside. Sean, I mentioned to you that the frig was way too big and I am glad to see they replaced with a smaller unit and have added some more storage. I am on my 2nd Airstream and am willing to pay for quality. In so many ways the Pause exceeds the Airstream features/quality, but the interior of my Flying Cloud 27FBT is just so much better. So, I wish Pause would build a longer unit, which I know would not be good for extreme off road, but could provide the space to have more features inside. I have spent the past 2 winters for extended periods in Colorado and Utah skiing and would love the 4 season capabilities vs what I had with my first Airstream, which was a Basecamp 20X. It performed well but I have to believe that Pause would be a lot better. There is definitely a market for comfortable extreme trailers that cost the same, or more, than Airstreams.
