We are in the Kircheim section of Heidelberg, where we are now riding the Route 26 tram as it heads through Kircheim for Bismarckplatz. I am unsure of the type of tram this is, but apparently they were built in the late 70's. The track here is meter gauge. Enjoy the sound of the hum of the traction motors. If you have any questions about the video, feel free to message me. Comments are welcome. The video was taken on June 10th, 2011.

Route 26 is fairly new as it was not there when I was stationed in Patton Barracks 1964-1966. Wish you had continued the video past there so I could see what it looks like now days. I understand the Army is moving out after 70+ years and giving it back to Germany. Thanks for the video.
