A little about me:
Sean Daniel is a man. A man of simple needs and desires. And the one desire, no, the one NEED, that stands above all is to spread the challenges, joy and intellectual stimulus of music to people of Earth and beyond.
Born on the mean streets of upper middle class suburban Chicago, Sean learned the ways of the world through the dizzying heights of success to the lonesome depths of failure and emerged with the promise of a better tomorrow reflecting in his eyes and fiery passion in his belly.
He plays and teaches guitar on his RU-vid channel where he regularly releases original music and projects to the adulation of legions of fans, who often compare him to Chris Pratt and one time Ryan Reynolds. He’s currently in the market for a nice leather jacket.

One of the things I like about listening to your covers and original songs is that you work with talented singers who aren't always pitch perfect and you don't autotune them. Real vocals are so much more expressive and satisfying. Wish BTS did it that way.

Thanks for saying so! Sometimes I think about maybe tuning them up a bit, but I kinda like how none of it is perfect. Just feels more like how it is live i guess.

Very good point but when a vocal is consistently flat there’s nothing wrong in re-recording it. I don’t mind when a singer sings under the note which creates a pleasing tension. But too much is a little hard on the sensibilities.

I didn’t think the vocals were flat. I thought they matched the mood of the song. Maybe I need to listen again more carefully. I get distracted by watching and listening to the instruments. But I thought it was all good work and fun to see how it all comes together.

Yup, they're a K-pop band but you can also use 'BTS" as shorthand for 'behind the scenes', gets kind of confusing when you're shooting a behind-the-scenes video with a massive k pop fan.

Well you must have done something right to make me like BTS (actually that's just ignorance and making the assumption that it's some boy-band - so prejudice. But still, you overcame my baseless prejudice, so that's something.) This song has something Stevie Wonder in it as well as something Joe Jackson.(Well I say so, so that must be true.) Didn't expect that. Killed it, anyway.

@@seandaniel23 Especially the ones about wigs. Mesopotamia also has some nice alternative archaeology in it - which is another kind of service to humanity. (It's always better to have a lot of different versions to explain the zigurats)
