The 1 talents is so when you mill it your opponent will go "oh they're on talents, I better play around that" despite you only having the 1 slot dedicated to it for mindgames purposes I think.

This video was SO good man! I absolutely loved this style and hope you continue it forward. I think using your own discretion in regards to when to detail a combo line vs when to summarize and skip to the end board worked out perfectly. The editing, the pacing, the humor; it was all spot on! I'm sure this was a massive effort, but I hope you continue them in this style!

Honestly, I think "controversial" would fit the deck a bit better, rather than most "hated"

Some improvements that I noticed for when you’re playing, when you scooped against centurion judgmenting your Merrli you could’ve activated merrli eff to make garura link 2 into dharc get a draw and see what happens from there. The other thing I saw was detaching garura from Beatrice when you were under droll instead of Mali which I thought was just a neg 1 bc in the event you want to make stapalia you can just use Beatrice to dump for that and get the garura effect anyway (given there had been another turn ofc)

The editing took a huge leap from previous local vids which is a great mood in the positive direction keep up! Also it's always hard to play an old deck you'll always make mistakes no worries it was fun

Tear is peak Yugioh. It's how modern yugioh should be played. People hate tear because when it debuted it was the only deck that played the way it does *and* was far above the power level of everything else, but if it had debuted alongside other decks with roughly the same power and playstyle everyone would be lauding it as the future of the game. Having options going both first and second is good. A board that isn't only tons of generic negates and a floodgate is good. Having a lot of plays during the opposing turn is good. An interesting mix of in-archetype cards, non-generic support, and non-engine staples is good. The only issue is that it didn't have good competitors yet. That's why its mirror matches were so great. unless he used the primera to search, and the field spell to synchro summon (this is game 1), you wouldn't have been able to banish the legatia, as the effects are trap effects to summon, so it wouldn't trigger fenrir

if i may give advice on the dangers is on the nessie if it gets sniped to search another danger instead of using the 2nd nessie in hand use the 1 that u search so they dont know that u have another in hand

I did play this deck so much, And honestly it is SUPER playable. It feels like a sleeper deck, With how surprisingly well it performed for me. My list doesn't play any Non-engine, But it's very full of gas. It is extremely consistent going 1st, And it decimates boards like crazy going 2nd. The only things that would be a struggle are droll, shifter and anti-spell. But other than that, This deck just doesn't get any lower than Tier 2 at worst. This deck is definitely Not dead at all, And is super fun to use

I think polarizing is the better term than hated, as while I hate the deck with the fury of a thousand suns and believe Konami hasn't hit it hard enough, a lot of people love the deck. I also think part of the negative reaction to the deck comes around the discourse the last thing players on the receiving end of Tear 0 want to hear is how that insanely overpowered deck is fair and promotes skillful expression of play (which, to the loser, translates to: "I believe I am smarter and better than you because I bought the most broken deck").

Tear Derangement Syndrome is a real thing Like, i can get people hating Runick since it just rips resources from your deck and can kill combo lines (and this is coming from a Dogmatika Runick player), but Tear is a really honest deck rn. I think the reason people hate it is because the deck won't die like any other deck normally would.
