Takis are hard to come by here. They're around, but you generally need to visit a spacialty retailer to find them. The popcorn looked so good, with the vibrant red hue. It was a shame it didn't deliver on flavour and texture. I totally agree that popcorn goes down hill fast, after its popped.
It was a different breed of popcorn too, they never pop in perfect spheres like that, it could just have been somethin inherent to that type of popcorn. Fresh is the only way to go, in my opinion!
