▼Tako Gion Festival The Tako Gion Festival has become a seasonal feature of the summer. This festival has been held since the Edo period, and floats from Shinmachi, which was built in Tempo 10, as well as floats from Honmachi, Nakamachi, and Takane, compete in a spectacular parade through the town. The smell of burning cotton candy, the creaking of the floats, the lively sounds of flutes and drums... it's a time when people come together and the town comes to life. On the same day, the "Shiikago Dance" is also performed. Fireworks are also set off on the 26th.

Take the Takomachi circular bus and get off at Takoshinmachi or Nakamachi. From Airport 2nd Building Station, take the Tako-Narita Airport shuttle bus (bound for Tako) and get off at Takomachi Town Hall, then walk for about 5 minutes. From Shibayama-Chiyoda Station, take the Tako-Narita Airport shuttle bus (bound for Tako) and get off at Takomachi Town Hall, then walk for about 5 minutes. From Seibi-Ki bus stop, take the Tako-Narita Airport shuttle bus (bound for Tako) and get off at Takomachi Town Hall, then walk for about 5 minutes.
From JR Narita Station, take the JR bus (bound for Tako or Yokaichiba) and get off at Tako-Shinmachi
