Definitely not talking any crap but that was way more difficult than just removing the motor with the gearbox attached to it. Be done in like two hours.
Next time, use a good sealer, and it would be all right. You could’ve just used the same Gearbox. Sealers called the right stuff. All you had to do is clean the oil out of thread it in what have been fine.
Fuck! The same thing just happened to me. That looks like a huge pain... I got mine semi-tight, hoping it doesn't leak and I can just run it. I'm curious if it's possible to just remove that cover instead of replacing the entire box..or even just tapping it one size bigger? Any thoughts? Thanks for the video.
