Talbina - Barley Porridge : Healthy, Helps in Weight Loss, Heart health & More

Talbina (Barley porridge)
Ingredients:
Milk- 1& 1/2 cup
Barley flour- 2 tbsp
Cardamom powder- 1/2 tsp ( Opcional)
Ghee- 1/2 tsp (optional)
Honey - 1 to 2 tsp (You can use brown sugar or only dates)
Dates to taste
Method:
In a pan add milk, cardamom powder, ghee and mix it well. Cook on medium heat until it gets thick, then add honey and serve it with some dates.

Talbina for the sick and for one who is grieving over a dead
person. She (may Allaah be pleased with her) used to say,
“I heard the Messenger (Sallallaahu layhi Wasallam) saying, 'The
Talbina gives rest to the heart of the patient and makes it active
and relieves some of his sorrow and grief.” Sahih al-Bukhari -
Benefits of Barley:
Health Benefits Of Barley
- Protects Heart Health (Barley contains niacin (a B vitamin complex) that reduces the overall cholesterol and lipoprotein levels and minimizes cardiovascular risk factors. Postmenopausal women having [2] high blood pressure, high cholesterol or cardiovascular diseases are specifically recommended to have it at least 6 times a week.)
- Prevents Asthma
- Keeps Intestine Healthy (being an excellent source of fiber, keeps your body toxin-free. )
- Boosts Immune System (strengthens your immune system and reduces the chances of cold and flu and prevents anemia and fatigue)
- Skin Care (helps preserve skin elasticity, thereby protecting it against free radical damage and loosening)
- Prevents Osteoporosis (The phosphorus and copper content in barley grass guarantees an overall health of bones)
- Protects against Gallstones
- Prevents Osteoporosis
- Controls Cholesterol Levels

Don't pour honey in too much hot u won't get the benefits of honey ,add when porridge is come to warm,

Jee weight loss keliye bohot achha hai, par exercise bhi important hai aur baki ka khana healthy hona chahiye. Barley ko roast karne ke zarorat nahin hai.

If you wash them make sure you dry them well before grind.Mene wash nahin kya par app kar sakti hain.

Jazak Allah khair . But adding honey in the boiling is dangerous as some of it honey turns as poison . Better add it when the porridge is cooled down

Mujhe mera weight kam karna hai aur stomach fat b kam karna hai to ye talbina powder se weight loss hoga k nhi aur kitne din me iska result dikhega

Weight loss ke liye 80% diet n 20% workout mainey rakhta hai.. chawal ke oats se substitute kare... talbina , ragi n oats ko switch kartey hue diet banaye .. aur 5 days a week 1 hour daily walking kare .. with out fail .. agar kuch khana man Kar raha ho toh cheat day per woh bhi lunch per jo khana chahey woh khaye .. in shaa Allah with in weeks you will loose weight... I lost 30 pounds in 5 months following the diet .. no rice no roti ..
