YES! Glad you returned to reviewing this show. I remember asking if you were gonna continue like 2 or 3 years ago. And now you are! Woohoo! Epic job on season 1. I got to this late, but I will be watching the other reviews from you as well! Favorite episode of this season is the first. The second episode is great, too.
Better late than never...also you're in luck I plan on reviewing all seasons of this show before October. Seasons 3 and 4 should be up by the end of this month with the others following soon after.
I always say that the one death Niels did that was kinda based was Jimmy bc even evil has standards and for the time I was impressed with a character that was against homophobia
My only regret about Season 1: I wish it were longer. Six episodes? That's almost as short as the 80s TMNT cartoon. They couldn't have it run for just a couple more episodes?
The first season is so short because the initial plan was to make a film featuring six segments. Also it was the first season and it was a pretty big risk at the time to do a fairly high budget cable horror anthology. So HBO had to know whether or not it had a hit on it's hands before it invested further into the series.
@@OcpCommunications Oh. Well, my favorite episode from this season has to be either "Dig That Cat... He's Real Gone" or "And All Through the House." "The Man Who Was Death" was also a juicy episode. And this was only a year before CP2, so we get to see Gerrit Graham die in another horror series.
