I appreciate Junaid for acknowledging our senior actors at the right time. It is so important to acknowledge people so they can enjoy and be happy about being celebrated. He's a phenomenal actor and seems like an empathetic and sensible person. ❤
One of the best podcast.. I was always wondering that who will be the next Talat Hussain sahab and Rahad Kazmi sahab from our urdu industry.. after watching this I can say adnan siddique sahab has all the qualities of those legends... The way Adnan sahab talk and express his views is marvellous.. Lots of love and dua from south african 🇿🇦 karachi wala...
I was sitting in Clippers .. waiting for my turn and Adnan bhai father was so kind.. and told me his journey from Education to a Banker and then retired. He had an amazing story to tell
Just watched the interview ! So refreshing to see someone doing an interview without sensationalizing questions and letting the guest speak . Great work Junaid Akram !! Going to watch all the interviews you have done so far
Adnan jee's final thought is actually a fact 🖤 Jab bhi Unka Naam ka zikr hota it just brings a smile to my face. He is the epitome of brilliance and humbleness MashaAllah. He has got wisdom, kindness, sense of humor, tameez, waqar and everything a great human can aspire to have. What an artist ! This podcast made me imagine and relive his lifetime of experiences. Thank YOU SO MUCH for bringing him to the show and for gifting us this candid 2-hour episode without those cuts and deletions. Adnan Siddiqui is a true blessing to Pakistani arts and his work in Pakistan is enough to illustrate that.
What a fine, experienced and lively guy he is. Awesome conversation. I am amazed I have listen to the whole podcasts. Was listening to the whole podcast putting my earphones on while working in my corporate office in gurgaon.
The best thing about Junaid Bhai is that he gives wholesome respect to his guests and let them do the talking. 🎉🎉❤❤ and keeping quiet. 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾
A wonderful podcast!! Just got here while eating to have a watch for 10 to 15 mins but got so fun that literally binge watch full podcast at one go. Thanks to Junaid Sir and Sir Adnan Siddique for this wonderful talk.
I consider him a very good actor. I am in US and also an actor. SAG is Screen Actors guild which is like professional union of all actors. It’s not easy to become part of it. I am trying to become SAG. That’s why he receives royalty or residuals as we call it. Please convey to him being part of SAG he can find work here. He will just have to come here and find an agent and make sure his SAG dues are paid
Adnan sir is such a brilliant actor.. a great blend of good looks and intelligence....also so suave, charming, classy and of course extremely well-spoken...looks the same as he did years back...More power to him! Thank you for a thought-provoking conversation
Brilliant actor. I also worked in Lintas for a brief period but after had already Adnan left. And coincidentally we had the same boss Arif Sahib in client services.
12:20 One small but amzing coincidence, please hear this or read: St. Patrick's i assume is a Catholic Brother's School, now the coincidence the actor's - Mr. Naseeruddin Shah is from St. Joseph's, Nainital & Shahrukh Khan is from St. Columbus, Delhi both are Catholic Brother's school. BTW, I am from St Vincent's, Asansol (my neighbouring school was St Patrick's, Asansol) both are Catholic Brother's schools
2:03:00 I completely disagree, most of the youth don't even watch Pakistani dramas because they are not interested in this and they want to watch something different. Everybody is watching netflix so think about it there must be a reason for this. If someone from Pakistan will try something different I'm sure it will work
Hi Junaid bhai great podcast. I have a small feedback regarding audio. The sound has a bit more bass when you compare to a-lot of other podcasts. This makes people with a bit of gravel in their voice sometimes incomprehensible.
@Sausheaven yeah I am mostly listening from my headphones and all the podcasts I listen to have generally lesser bass levels. I have tried with other types of earbuds and I felt the same thing. So maybe just a little bit of adjustment could go a long way.
1:04:04 Sir, aapko maamu bana rehi thi immigration arrival officer. The date in the Visa is by when you are required to enter USA, Visa normally expires 6 months after the entry. A similiar situation I had , my visa was expiring on 16Jun,1997 n I was entering USA on that day at 2PM, n I was wondering the same things, but much later the INS people told me the stay stamp is of 6 months from day of entery they have no other stamp. 😅😊😂
Great podcast Junaid. Just a suggestion, I notice that you sometimes rock your chair sideways. From body language perspective, it shows nervousness on your behalf which is understandable when you are talking to legends like Adnan. Just be mindful about it as it suggests a bit unprofessional body language. Never forget you are also a STAR!
Mehmood Masood you can see in Bonanza's add in old PTV adds, was filmed in new York and Twin Towers were in Back Ground, a beautiful play back sound was in it. Voice was of Mehnaz. Mehmood Masood was a very handsome guy.
My mom waited for me and my sister on her death bed. We flew in to Islamabad early around 4 am. By the time we made it to her hospital room, she passed away with in 5 minutes after I whispered to her that we were there ( she had been in coma type of condition, after suffering from untreatable liver cancer). It still haunts me.
