Copyright BBC and Bad Wolf Studios For my international viewers who are watching Pyramids of Mars this week in anticipation for Empire of Death but are annoyed they can't watch the Tales of the TARDIS version I hope this will help!
Continuing proof that Ncuti is a great actor. The look of love and loss on his face whilst talking about Sarah-Jane properly goes for the heartstrings!
@@TheMultiPickle Did you notice the repeat quote, I put a short of it up a couple of days ago! "If time is memory and memory is time, what is the memory of a time machine" is almost word for word how 5 described the memory TARDIS!
It’s always been implied that events in the memory tardis are sort of dream-like. The characters aren’t really physically there, but communicating through their dreams and memories of each other.
I think unless it's explained in Empire of Death I'd assume this is in the Doctors head as the reveal was happening as Ruby won't know who Sutekh is until the Doctor tells her!
Thanks for posting this. Being a fan of Dr. Who is uneccasarily complicated in the USA. Bend over backwards to ruin the premier times in our favor, but we also need 3 different services to watch like 85% of the show. Large swathes are missing here on britbox (beyond actual missing episodes), no minisodes, no omnibus remasters. And unfortunately Ill probably die never having seen the updated pyramids of Mars. But thanks to you I get this bit of scraps!!
same issues here in Australia too, i just pirate all of it in the end 🤷♂ lmao, tho there is a cut up retelling of pyramid of mars on the doctor who official channel you can watch! tho only 11 minutes, you might be able to use a vpn to watch on bbc iplayer to watch the whole tales of the tardis eps
It is like 75% there on tubi with ads. In the US any time a serial is missing an episode at all, the ENTIRE serial is removed from the service. So like in the UK on Britbox you can watch the 3 episodes of the 10th planet, but the 4th one is missing. So in the US every episode of the 10th planet is unavailable. Patrick troughtons first season on Britbox says that it's 37 episodes long and in the US we have access to a single 6 part serial out of 37 episodes. So Troughton is practically impossible to watch here
I’m not extremely pleased that the added memory tardis scenes of this tales was just pointing out what a threat sutekh is for the 2nd part of the finale when all the others celebrate the doctor and companion that appeared in the story even though Elisabeth Sladen has passed, could’ve had K9 in here or something if not Tom Baker
I would suspect Tom Baker was contacted for the 60th ones and for Power of the Doctor and both times refused due to his health and age. I would have loved if it could have been him telling Tommy Knight (Sarah Jane's son Luke) about it but I think Tom Baker has retired and will not be appearing again unfortunately.
Tom Baker is likely too old for it now, he reportedly wanted to appear in Power of the Doctor but was unable to. Even his Big Finish work was recorded heard ago now
The Doctor didn't defeat Sutek, he didn't defeat anything so much as survive and put things right. This is the ultimate difference between the modern series, which is getting so much wrong and has for a while, and the classic.
Doing it right, or wrong, it's all subjective. Your idea of what is proper obviously varies wildly from mine. Agree to disagree. I grew up in the 80s with all the classic Doctors and to me the show feels pretty much the same as it always has if we just ignore most of the Chibnall years. 😆
pyramids of mars is notably precisely _because_ the fourth doctor barely makes it in later seasons he barely sells the threats at all in seven complete stories, fifteen has gotten a total victory in three (3) of them
