The Doctor Who season finale, "Empire of Death", is nearly here. Last week's episode certainly left us waiting. Sutekh, the god of all gods and the god of death, has revealed himself. The mysterious Susan Triad turned out to be a servant of his, a trap for the Doctor. Meanwhile, Ruby has been trapped in the Time Window, and who knows what will happen there? As with all the episodes, we’ll cover all the released promotional materials and then toss some theories and ideas around.

Jack that was so true about Rose, It really felt pointless her being there. Almost as if the original plan was Donna being there, A lot of people are seeing the TARDIS in the memory window is the one they use, but I just wonder if RTD is going to go there and take the doctor and co to DT/CT. I really hope this wont happen because it just makes the final scenes with them pointless. I suspect the snow is protecting Ruby and UNIT When you see Ruby and the doctor in that plain room which i suspect is No 10 they are surrounded by snow. Those who don't know much about Anita Dobson go a search on Angie and Den. Please trust me on this Dobson can act from an Angel to a Demon within a sentence. I still think she's the lady who dropped off Ruby whether she's the mother. As for the kind woman its either Susan, Susan twist (the planet with orange sky) or outside chance Riversong, Totally insane theory Riversong is Ruby's mother. Sadly location shoots are not showing much of Millie and whilst she's been cast for series 2 exactly as what?

I'm not sure this is true. The tardis was playing up before it was split. See Wild Blue Yonder

Technically the first groan was in Wild Blue Yonder, so if the tardis is doubled is sutekh doubled too?

Oh please, ALL those "gods" think they're "The God of all gods", and Susan Triad is merely mixed up in Sutekh's plan, her presence across space and time is something else trying to signal The Doctor.

The First Doctor and the Master went to the Timelord Academy with the Rani so she and Susan probably aren't the same person.

The Rani could disguise herself as Susan. She tried to convince 7 that she was Mel and was surprisingly successful.

UNIT really need to consider using alien technology instead of bullets and the typical “six rounds rapid” attitude. (That’s a classic Who reference fyi) Human guns have never worked and if they have the Black Archive and a Time Window they could be using all sorts of alien weapons.

@@nicholasfarrell5981The Brigadier did apparently kill him by shooting him with silver bullets. So calling it The Destroyer and it getting shot by bullets is a bit naff. Perhaps The Wet-paper would have been better. Ok one character got shot by an octogenarian once. Hardly an argument for UNIT not to discuss gun reform.

The lamp post evokes a sense of Narnia. It's all about fantast worlds... this is not the real world, it's a TV show. The Doctor is trapped in a TV show like Truman... mark my words.
